ilsant0
Ok guys, The scenery1) Modem / router Nighthawk AC1900 connect port 1 to port 1 R1 red netduma original cable.2) Xbox One - PC - ps4 connect to router R1.3) testing on Battlefield 1 Xboxone, pc and ps44) only on the ps4 "Has Been A lan cable disconnected" error come out.5) if ps4 directly connect to Nighthawk AC1900 router, bypassing the R1, BF1 run smooth without iussues. Will be the R1 Combatible with battlefiled 1 on ps4 ??I'm considering the beta of BF1 on which version to buy the game. Whether it will be incompatible with the ps4 will buy 'the game on other platforms (PC or xboxone).P.S.i have all the hardware side tests (cables / ports)Do you plan to solve the problem of the "A lan cable has benn disconnected" on R1? A7Legit
I think the issues would be a Netduma R1 issue if everyone had this problem of "A LAN cable has been disconnected" but not everyone does sadly...

Thank you for interesting answer.... According to you then is it my unit faulty R1 or ps4? The choice is yours.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 7, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 7, 2016 Hey, welcome to the forum! This has come up a few times but a lot of people who don't have an R1 also experience this issue. Ensure the console is connecting via automatic network settings. A7Legit
Thank you for interesting answer....According to you then is it my unit faulty R1 or ps4?The choice is yours. If I had to choose and considering minute amounts of individuals on this forum with a Netduma R1 & a PS4 have this issue, as you do, I'd say it could be your R1, but if I was a gambling man I'd say your PS4 Ethernet RJ45 port may need some looking into. I had a PS3 that does this, I hope my PS4 never suffers that fate. I didn't own a Netduma back when the PS3 started with this issue, it still has a shot RJ45 port, I use that PS3 as a Blu-Ray player now and connects with Wifi... ilsant0
First of all, Thanks for the reply and collaborationAs I wrote, if the ps4 connect directly to my router Nighthawk AC1900, I haven't problem whatsoever, but I cannot use the features of the R1 which I consider a very good product. If i play Cod, for example, I MUST set the ps4 in manual and the MTU as manual. Just so there isnt LAN disconnection.I repeat, the problem occurs only in the presence of the R1 and the BF1 beta.WITHOUT R1 any game run smoothly like candy.is coming a new netduma R1, we'll see ..... That is indeed strange, is your console where you set the MTU to 1500 or the Netduma R1? If it's the console, if you set the MTU on the R1 to 1500 in Settings > WAN, does that help? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 8, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 8, 2016 Strange that is just the beta. Possible that it could be the beta itself. Do you have the Geo-filter enabled when playing the beta? If so disable it, does that resolve the issue? For Bo3 if you don't set MTU manually then you get the same error?
