tellto
so i recently switched to AT&T uverse internet which is fiber and my ping has been great ranging from 17-32. I was wondering if anyone had any settings for a 1000mbps download and upload because before i only had 300 down and 21 up with twc. since my new internet is above 600mbps i need to turn on super turbo mode but can any other changes help my hit detection? with time warner it took the duma alot of messing with to get the hit detection right. my setup is modem>NETDUMA>ps4. also im getting random connection interrupted. thank you

Slipknot31286sic6
Confusing you got high speed internet for wifi? Cod only uses 3kb/3kb up n down. Faster doesn't help. Jus take sure you have ps4 in hyper Lane. Udp 3074 set as source. Set geo filter on cod ultimate. Or manually set geo whichever you wanna try. That fast of internet. Hope u got a good deal cuz ps4 caps downloads from Ps store at 6MB. I have 12 MN down and never get that dl gaming's. Bs.
fuzzy clam
He probably got the higher speeds on WIFI for the rest of his home not specifically for gaming.Damn I would love to have those speeds to the rest of my house on WIFI but I also have a 18 / 2 ADSL line just for gaming as cable is the worst for gaming but fine for the rest of my house because of the speeds. And you know that when you tick super turbo mode it disables your CC but it's necessary to get all your speeds,so maybe that's part of your issue. fuzzy clam
yeah i got those speeds for the rest of my home. so should i disable super turbo mode? I don't have your speeds, although I wish I did but I think you could untick super turbo mode while gaming just so your CC will function and then tick it again when your done gaming. I'm pretty sure with your speeds that just having turbo mode ticked will be fine for the rest of the house while you game.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 5, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 5, 2016 For your speeds: Reactive Algorithm 100% anti-flood Share excess enabled Reset device prioritisation & apply Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc Disable deep packet in misc Enable turbo mode Enable super turbo mode Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds. Do a wired speed test from a PC With super turbo enabled you won't be able to use CC so as above if you want to use CC when gaming just disable that. fuzzy clam
how much bandwith on device prioritization should i give my ps4? That is completely subjective to your network and it's usage,I don't know how many devices you have going on your network but I would guess that with your speeds (even with out super turbo enabled) that you could leave them as they are on the flower. But again if you have 50 devices connected to your duma, the recommendation would probably change. But I'm sure you can go 30-40 without any issues.Like I said it all depends on your home network,I got 2 devices on my gaming line,my PS4 and my gaming laptop and I just leave it where it is. But again you've got some sick speeds so don't know if anything aside from the whole neighborhood streaming netflix on your connection that would effect you. I was always told just make it 10-20 percent more than it is when sitting normal and that's a good place to start.Just make sure you set your CC to the correct settings and play around with your settings until you find your sweet spot. And I'm still jealous of your speeds...
ColonicBoom
Higher speeds are a waste of money u should of have stuck with your old or even downgraded for gaming that is... Higher speeds (more bandwidth) isn't a waste of money if you need/want it. Why would you downgrade your speeds for gaming? The only reason to downgrade your bandwidth is if a different ISP can provide a more stable line (low jitter line) that just happens to have less bandwidth. ColonicBoom
how much bandwith on device prioritization should i give my ps4? I would just click on 'Reset Distribution' so that it shares your excess. With those speeds you don't need to prioritise any of them really. Make sure you're using hyperlane for your Xbox/PS4 though. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 6, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 6, 2016 yeah i put udp 3074 as source. is that okay? Some people like to do that but considering the console doesn't just use that port I would recommend just selecting the relevant console service. ColonicBoom
yeah i put udp 3074 as source. is that okay? I don't personally use 3074 source but I know some others that swear by it. I use what Fraser said, just the standard 'Xbox One' / 'Xbox Live'. I have tried '3074 source' (and '3074 both') for BO3 but it didn't seem any better to me so I reverted back to standard settings after a few days of testing.
