dd2430 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 I tried all suggestions in reply to this thread http://forum.netduma.com/topic/17955-internet-service-fine-on-main-modem-but-is-terrible-on-the-bridge-to-the-netduma/ andnothing worked. The download speed is averaging about 20-30% less on the wired connection to the netduma than the wired connection to the modem. Changing the cable from the modem to the duma did not work and the congestion control is off. I performed a factory reset with no improvement. More support needed to try to fix the issue on my end.
nffcbaz72 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 When you say congestion control is off, you mean at 0%??
dd2430 Posted August 27, 2016 Author Posted August 27, 2016 When you say congestion control is off, you mean at 0%?? Both caps are at 100%.
nffcbaz72 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Did you enter the correct speeds in your bandwidth?
dd2430 Posted August 27, 2016 Author Posted August 27, 2016 I have fixed the speed issue now I'll see if the ping issue is resolved as well.
nffcbaz72 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 9 times out of 10 it is user error, until you get used to the router, will take time. What was the speed issue?

I've had the router for over a year. I am plenty used to the router. If you need help diagnosing a problem then you need to post the information from the following... http://forum.netduma.com/topic/11776-please-read-before-posting-a-support-thread/ What did you do that resolved the issue? It may be helpful for other users if they have a similar problem.

Turned off the primary network, turned on the passthrough. That's about it. I updated the bandwidth speeds on the duma in the congestion control after the factory reset which helped and the ping problem seemed to fix itself.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 28, 2016 Administrators Posted August 28, 2016 Glad to see your issue is resolved. I'll close this thread now and the other as well. Feel free to start another if needed. Just for future reference please stick to your original thread rather than starting a new one
