Skiparachi901 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 The Netduma R1 has been a complete thing of beauty and pure excitement since I've first installed it. I've just recently started to have problems with the R1. I'm getting horrible lag spikes and constant jitter. I could be merely walking, running or boosting jumping around that map then, suddenly I'd be 10 steps where I was previously. The lag is so bad that I could kill one player then within a split second later I can't even get a hit marker after I've fired 15 rounds into the 2nd player. I've went as far as posting the DVR footage of it happening on my Twitter for @NETDUMA to observe. http://twitter.com/Skiparachi_Mack/status/765384817001295872?s=09 This was all after I had upgraded the router from 1.03.5m to 1.03.6g. Then use the settings advised by @NETDUMA on Twitter. Saying to, "Make sure all devices are connected to the R1. 70/70 anti-flood, share excess on, reset device prio, console in hyper. In which I did and I showed my results in my 1st video.... http://t.co/2tIlxEmFhp HELP! IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE I COULD DO PLEASE SHARE IT HERE WITH ME!
secretface Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I would try a different game just to rule out the game itself right now I know alot of people are having trouble. Me I play on a server that works best for me and it is not the closest.
Skiparachi901 Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 Having trouble with Overwatch as well.
secretface Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 when I upgraded the firmware like what 6 months ago I had alot of trouble, I rolled it back to 1.305 or whatever and played with my old settings and it was fine so I reinstalled 1.306 or whatever and it was fine. I have no idea why.
Skiparachi901 Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 How do you roll back to 1.03.5m? Factory reset then go back to reinstall 1.03.5m?
secretface Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 yea I think so I think I did the factory reset after each install, it dosen't change the firmware I believe
secretface Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I also have cc at 60% down and 90 up I don't use PA
Skiparachi901 Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 OK. I'll try that and see what happens because gaming for me is unbearable right now.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 17, 2016 Administrators Posted August 17, 2016 I wouldn't recommend downgrading at all as you could potentially brick the router. Post the screenshots from here http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022425-lag-support-instructions-to-post-on-the-forum-and we can help optimise your settings.
Skiparachi901 Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 Definitely, will do this as soon as I get home today!!! THANKS A TON!
nffcbaz72 Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Think Fraser meant i wouldn't downgrade, as you could brick duma.
secretface Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Think Fraser meant i wouldn't downgrade, as you could brick duma. True but I did it as it wasn't working correctly and it made my duma work great again.
Skiparachi901 Posted August 21, 2016 Author Posted August 21, 2016 This is everything you've requested. Please look into this for me as soon as possible. I pay for 75 mbps from Comcast. I didn't include that part in the attachment below. THANX in advance. Netduma.docx

KayOneX-24 Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 Does this reconcile the terrible ping? No, it's a diagnosis tool and it makes bad ping visible and shows you the cause of it.
Skiparachi901 Posted August 22, 2016 Author Posted August 22, 2016 OK thanks. I'm going to download it then and see if i can find a work around.
