D3mon1c
Every time I play using reactive (75 down 5 up & sliders set to 70/70) eventually while playing BO3 the gaming starts to get choppy like my screen is shaking on its own every time I move & people that run past me look as if they're going in slow motion & when times like this happen (happens a hell of a lot for me on reactive but never on preemptive) I can't be accurate on killing people when I need to. Is reactive not meant for gaming? Is there some settings I need to mess with to make it work? Cause I have no clue at all why it does this & I don't mind preemptive but I won't have all my down speed if I do that
A7Legit
If your games are better with Preemptive, then use Premptive. I game with Reactive, it works better for me, so I use it. Settings the Congestion Control sliders to 70% for both is recommended but it's not mandatory, just an FYI...
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 9, 2016 Administrators Share Posted August 9, 2016 Reactive can be used for gaming no problem but as above everyone has one that works best for them and in your case it's preemptive
fuzzy clam
As A7 and Fraser said it's not a set in stone rule on which algorithm you use,as everyone's home network is different. I would use which ever one gives you the more consistent and better gameplay.
