Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 3, 2016 Administrators Share Posted August 3, 2016 You should have the R1 in the DMZ of your ISP hub or have it in modem mode. Then both the consoles in network settings should show an open NAT. Then you can manually port forward according to this to get them open for the game https://support.activision.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/Ports-Used-for-Call-of-Duty-Games
TODDzillaInLA
I have the r1 straight from the wall. No need to put in dmz. Upnp is on also have 3074 one one xbox in port forwarding and 3075 on 2nd
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 4, 2016 Administrators Share Posted August 4, 2016 You should only have UPnP or port forwarding enabled. Disable UPnP and port forward everything manually. Disable UPnP forwarding in misc settings as well.
TODDzillaInLA
did this, still only one open one moderate. i came to the conclusion that its not possible for both to be open at the same time
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 11, 2016 Administrators Share Posted August 11, 2016 Do they both read open in the console network settings? Have you set static IPs in DHCP lease for the devices you're port forwarding? Disable the Geo-filter before booting up the games. Does it then show open? TODDzillaInLA
yes both consoles in settings/network/ say open but which ever console turns on first will say open on BO3 which ever one turns on 2nd will say moderate. its been this way before the netduma r1 and after it. in another thread i posted in they told me to disable upnp for better connection and just use port forwarding, when i do this then one xbox goes into moderate because you cant use the same port more then once to forward. i just start unchecking the geo filter box under the device section and still the same thing only one says open one says moderate
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 12, 2016 Administrators Share Posted August 12, 2016 I've just thought of this work around - I haven't tried it personally. I don't think this would work but enable UPnP disable all port forwarding except for 3075 for the second console. This will reduce the chance of port conflicts but may help opening the NAT if UPnP doesn't try to open it
