On and on and on it goes.

So I can only have wifi enabled with no password. I've tried every combination of settings and nothing changes this. I'm on the latest firmware.

This is really pissing me off. This issue has been here for months, at least. A router reboot, factory reset, reset with upgrade doesn't change this. Also the process for making an account and linking with twitter on here is also ridiculously bugged.

I'd appreciate a solution. Obviously this makes no sense whatsoever and should not be happening. Wifi without a password is useless. A router without wifi is crippled to the point of being useless.

Try making the SSID shorter

Try making the SSID shorter

Well, it's like I said - I've tried every combination of settings. Shorter SSID, default ID, no ID. Tried it all. As you can see in my OP, the thing that stops it from working is enabling a password. It isn't to do with the SSID, it's enabling a network password that disables wifi. Thanks for trying to help though.

Hey, welcome to the forum!

Haven't heard of this issue before, thanks for bringing it to our attention. Glad you got it resolved.

Twitter linking is to do with IPB that would be there issue but haven't heard much about that either.
