DumaRocks
According to this article that one of the admins posted I was to start a new post stating these steps did not work. Here is the article in case that is important.http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=why_can_t_i_see_anything_on_the_geofilter Step 1: Selecting Drive. This was setup correctly but maybe it's worth noting there was not XBOX Live PA option but I assume that is because that was using and older version. I did select the XBOX Live option though. Both "Show Hosts" and "Enabled" are checked.Step 2: I am using Google Chrome (Version 51.0.2704.103) on a IMac OSX Yosemite. I have also cleared my cache, cookies, browser history etc. I disabled all extensions and the only plugins I have are the four default Chrome plugins.Step 3: GeoFilter is enabled as stated in Step 1 explanation.Step 4: When first hooking up router I was hard wired and that has not changed. Step 5: I have had both auto cloud and bleeding edge cloud checked. I did however read somewhere that bleeding edge cloud should be disabled as it creates problems for geo-filter in some cases. I tried both way and both ways I did reboot the router and I also tried power cycling everything. The problem still exists in game and before games where there is no icon with rare exceptions which I will explain further down.Step 6: Yes, I have rebooted the Netduma several times as well as power cycling everything including the console, cable modem and router. On the GEO Filter page I have these items checked, anything not mentioned either isn't there or is unchecked. "Auto Ping Host", "Kilobetres", "Strict Mode", "Show Dormant Hosts". "Show Legend I check on and off depending what I am doing.WHAT I SEE IN GEO FILTER SCREENSo at times I do see one or two icons of servers. This is when I am not in a game but connected the XBOX and in the public match. Sometimes these single servers or hosts do stay for the duration of the game but many times there are zero icons. I do sometimes see those yellow exclamations pop up and disappear quickly almost like they are cycling back and forth. I have yet to see actual player icons in game which is one of the reason I liked the idea of the Netduma R1.I have attached screenshots per one of the admin's request of what I saw. These are in game and also while waiting for a game.http://www.raysguide.com/netduma/netduma1.png http://www.raysguide.com/netduma/netduma2.png http://www.raysguide.com/netduma/netduma3.png http://www.raysguide.com/netduma/netduma4.png Hope this provides enough info to try to figure this out. Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted June 23, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 23, 2016 Go to network settings on your console and make a note of the IP address. Then go to Device Manager on the Netduma and compare the IP's to the device; making sure you are selecting the correct one on the Geofilter. Get back to me with the results. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 23, 2016 Administrators Share Posted June 23, 2016 Also zoom out on the Geo-filter, do you see anything then?
DumaRocks
Thanks so much for your help. I actually found the solution late last night but didn't get a chance to post back here. At least I think I found it. I simply did a factory reset and put all my settings back in and now it seems to be working. All I can do is believe either I clicked something somewhere that I wasn't suppose to originally or it was just one of those goofy technical glitches. Thanks for your time and suggestions, sorry I couldn't save you the effort by posting sooner but really appreciate it your help.So far I am seeing some results with this. While it doesn't always fix the lags it feels as though it has reduced it in many cases. It also is kind of educating me on when the best times of day to play is but again, I only have a couple days in so have a lot of experimenting to do with it.Like the product so far, hopefully its not all in my head
