callous chris
hello guys so for a while i have been using the bt home hub 5 as a modem only, the duma is placed into the HH5 dmz but for whatever reason will not allow me to connect too xbl on my 360 and keeps disconnecting my internet randomly (since latest duma patch) i have now swapped back to the old modem i used with the HH4 before upgrading (modem make and model huawel echollife hg612) this thing seems to work really well no downtime ever but issues with speed and ping my speeds with the home hub 5 are 72/79.9 down and 16/19.9 up dependent on time of day (wired speed test) however on the huawel my speed and even my ping are worse 42 down 14 up and ping is around 10-12 higher than if i use hub would love to know if anyone has any clue on how to fix this or could tell me if the issues lies with the duma itself (used huawel before patch worked better than the hub) or maybe time for a 3rd party modem FINALLY ANYONE SUGGEST ME A GOOD STAND ALONE MODEM FOR ADLS FIBEROPTIC. thank you
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted June 7, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 7, 2016 Are you on the latest version, 1.03.6? Have you followed the instructions here for getting top speeds? Are you using PPoE on the Netduma?

Zennon
The Hauwei hg612 is the best modem for UK fibre lines. Are these the speeds coming directly from the Hauwei?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 10, 2016 Administrators Share Posted June 10, 2016 Those are the speeds you're getting directly through the huawei or with duma attached to it?
