Do you guys get good connections off the dedicated servers???

With the setting I normally use I connect to the same dedicated server about 90% of the time and the connections are really consistent. maybe 1 out of 10 games is bad but the other 9 are good reliable connections. What is your experience???

Didn't enjoy the PS4 Activision servers at all on Ops3 (but they were good on AW).   But am finding the Xbox 1 Azure dedicated servers much better.   Bad games still happen depending on who connects to em (not their location but their internet quality).  But most are pretty good.

I connect to either Los Angeles servers or Seattle servers 90% of the time, they are pretty consistent for the most part, I sometimes get in a lobby where there is someone else tearing it up with a 2-3 bar connection. Call it lag comp call it whatever, but I must say that the duma has made blops 3 at least playable and I dare to say at times enjoyable. This game is definately fucked up more than I care to go into, but being able to connect to the best servers available to me in my area has made a huge difference.

Urge stomps on the UK local dedis too, all the way across the pond with his big ol' foot squashing my fellow countrymen - I get in the backpack and just get carried around Master Blaster style.

This Blaster! 20 men enter. Only him leave.

I find it a bit hit and miss on the Irish dedis but my internet is craaaaaaaap at the moment (36 hrs until I have new line, twitching in anticipation).

Hoping that my new line will stabilise things and then I'll be jumping back over the pond to return the favour and put a size 10 up a US butt ;)

Masterblaster runs Bartertown. You want foot in face?

I see this way to often, one solitary 3 bar miles ahead at the top. Pisses me off.

Spectacular beard by the way

LOL the beard is some kind of iphone ap my daughter sent me, but it does look pretty rad. If I had the patience I would grow one, but I have none! I have come to the conclusion that no matter what you try and do, Blops3 is a crap shoot. Wednesday night I played for 4-5 hours and won a ton of ffa matches, and was rarely out of the top 3, last night I had to quit early due to people glitching all over the place. Most lobbies I was tossed into I'm running a 4 bar, 35ms ping and lucky to get 1kill. Now I dont claim to be a COD beast, but I'm not that bad. If connection is good I'm always top 3 in FFA. I know that the duma is doing its job because I was on my usual dedis. COD keeps getting worse every year, it is pretty sad that we have to have a special gaming router to make this game somewhat playable.

I did wonder if it was real, the coloured bit made me doubt a little. I thought if you were going to that much effort would you really dye some of it orange...

I've just changed ISP from a really jittery cable line to a FTTC line, after it's settled and I've worked out some of the new hub's settings I'll run a side by side to show how different they are and compare how they play. First thing I noticed, pinging a big server that's not far away, my ping has dropped by a massive amount.

Cable is 25ms with regular (every 5-10secs) spikes up to 85ms+ and that's being kind, sometimes the spikes hit 250ms.

FTTC is 8ms with a few spikes (a minute apart or more) of +20ms max.

It's a lot better no question but I've got serious doubt about the game now - it should play perfect...

I'll be able to tell you soon.
