One87
Since i first bought the Netduma over a year ago i have had issues with Wifi dropping out constantly. I originally had my Arris MRC in bridge mode and used Netduma for Wifi and ethernet connections. I had Wifi drop out issues the whole time so i had to change my Arris to DMZ and use the Wifi from my Arris. I literally tried everything to fix..enabling/disabling Wifi Workaround. Rebooting device and adjusting settings etc still no luck. In conclusion the wifi just is not reliable so i have to use my Arris Wifi which for me defeats the purpose of being able to control all devices on Netduma network. I have a lot of wifi devices such as Phones, laptops, Amazon Firesticks etc. Will they ever be a TRUE fix for the wifi issue?? please dont reply have you tried this or that..i have tried everything to fix the issue and its happening to majority of people that use the Netduma Wifi..we need a permanent fix not temporary that last a week or so. I was literally rebooting netduma or changing the wifi stuff every day to get it to work again.
A7Legit
I think it would help a great deal if we had options for the Wifi such as; 1. Channel Width - 20/40Mhz 2. QAM256 Support 3. WMM Support I think this would not only fix the Wifi issues some people are having but also add more flexibility/compatibility.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 27, 2016 Administrators Share Posted May 27, 2016 Working on the new upgrade the code has advanced so much that we can't release any kind of fix for current firmware as going back would be too time consuming. We will do thorough testing when the new upgrade is ready for all issues people have experienced such as wifi. We will try to include more wifi settings such as the above as well. If you like we can do a 1 on 1 and I can take a look. Just post in the 1 on 1 section.

UK_Wildcats_Fans
I will share my wifi issues. I occasionally have issues. It works for a while (weeks) and then I start having problems. After lots of experimentation, I think that I have found my issues with wifi. The Netduma wifi channel has to be manually set while many other routers will automatically switch to the best channel. When I have wifi issues, I instantly pull up wifi analyzer on my phone and look at all the wifi channels. 90% of the time, my wifi channel has several other routers using that same channel (many with high signal strengths). In these cases, I change the Netduma wifi to a channel less congested. When I do this, I don't usually have wifi issues for a while. The other 10% of the time, I believe that the wifi is having a difficult time when I have NUMEROUS (10-20) devices connected at once. This usually happens when I have lots of people at the house. I have a 2 story stucco house on the side of hill; therefore, there is a poor cell phone signal strength in the house. It forces people to connect to wifi. Because of these issues, I am purchasing a dual band access point.
