Brim
So I got the r1 today and I can't get anything to work lol. Anybody got time to run me through the whole process and yes I've done some reading still no luck. Not a complete noob so it shouldn't take too long

ColonicBoom
As far as I know, 'problem loading external resources' means that you don't have a connection to the internet on the Netduma - discovered this yesterday because my internet went down completely (at the ISPs end). Is your ISP router/modem in 'modem mode' or 'bridge mode'? Or do you have the Netduma in the DMZ of your ISP router? Or are you using the ISP device for routing functions as well as the Netduma? If you connect a device direct to your ISP router do you have internet? (I don't mean before you set it up, I mean right now) Have you tried turning everything off long enough for the RAM to clear (5 mins should do it), then turn the devices on in *stages? *Turn on ISP router/modem first (wait 5 mins), turn on Netduma (wait 5 mins), then try to reconnect devices. When you say "I can run my tablet through Duma wifi but I can't use my PC which is hard wired" Do you mean that you can access websites throught Netduma wifi or do yuo mean that you can access the Netduma admin through the tablet? What settings are you using in the Netduma? (Screenshots please).
ColonicBoom
Don't get to excited. I struggle to find a benefit I see from your some of your previous posts that you don't appear to have your setup quite sorted yet... Perhaps if you respond to the support suggestions that you have received, in your own threads, we can help you further.
Brim
Can't find the setting of bridge or modem mode on isp router. I was going to throw netduma in dmz but I can't access isp modem once I plug in netduma to it. It just goes to admin netduma no matter what ip address I put in. I'm sure they are conflicting with each other ie both trying to do routing. Yes you were right I can only access admin stuff through netduma not websites on tablet. Also PC is hard wired with no access either.
ColonicBoom
Couldn't find a lot, found this but I don't know if it's correct (or helpful). Might be worth a punt though... Open a web browser. Enter http://192.168.2.1 into the address bar. (Or click the link) Enter the username and password if the gateway asks. (admin/admin or admin/admin1) Select Advanced Setup across the top. Select WAN IP Settings on the left. Select the radio button for RFC 1483 Transparent Bridging. Select Apply. Enter the PPPoE information into the router if necessary. Brim
So I tried the transparent bridging and no go as soon as a plug in the Duma everything shuts down. I'm at a loss now
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted May 13, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted May 13, 2016 Hey Brim Set up your previous router how it was before the Netuduma arrived. Then plug the Netduma into the other router - make sure you use port one on the Netduma. Next, connect all devices from the previous router to the Netduma. If that doesn't work, can you check that PPoE and WAN IP are disabled in Settings >> WAN and also see if there is a number after 'WAN IP' in the device manager? There are so many different permutations to get things right that I don't know my head from my backside. One game you can tell a major difference then the next back to normal. There is probs one tiny thing missing. My sky hub won't do just modem either so I have messed with that to by following posts on here to get it set for use with r1. I apologise if I seem negative but I really want to get it settled and working its magic.

There are a few people on here who are exceptionally good at technical stuff (I'm not one of them either) but they might well be rubbish in a pub quiz I'll have a look back at your thread after lunch and see if I can think of any other suggestions...
