So can anyone point me to where I may have mistaken with my ddns? It takes me directly back to the router homepage. Should I use a different port than 80? This is for a networked dvr incase anyone wants to hack it and see me naked. But seriously if anyone has run into this kind of thing please let me know.

I had this same problem, was using my R1 behind my Asus router and because I had enabled wan access so I could control my R1 from my PC it would open up the R1 interface to the whole internet for some reason... I didn't find a solution, but I didn't really try hard to figure it out because my network cam broke a month or so into it.

First, if possible just disable access from WAN as that should fix it. If you need WAN access (e.g. you are connected to a different router - not the Netduma) then try blocking port 80 TCP for incoming traffic on the upstream router.

I don't have any other router. My modem is a modem only then directly to the R1.

Ok I figured out how to get it to work. Comcast blocks alot of incoming ports, just needed to out smart them I guess!
