secretface
So can anyone point me to where I may have mistaken with my ddns? It takes me directly back to the router homepage. Should I use a different port than 80? This is for a networked dvr incase anyone wants to hack it and see me naked. But seriously if anyone has run into this kind of thing please let me know. I had this same problem, was using my R1 behind my Asus router and because I had enabled wan access so I could control my R1 from my PC it would open up the R1 interface to the whole internet for some reason... I didn't find a solution, but I didn't really try hard to figure it out because my network cam broke a month or so into it.
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted April 23, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted April 23, 2016 First, if possible just disable access from WAN as that should fix it. If you need WAN access (e.g. you are connected to a different router - not the Netduma) then try blocking port 80 TCP for incoming traffic on the upstream router. secretface
I don't have any other router. My modem is a modem only then directly to the R1.
