cjones1130 Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 No matter what I do I cannot get the VPN to work, it just loads and loads and sometimes says fails to communicate w/router. I've hard reset to no avail. Suggestions please, thank you.
cjones1130 Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 The VPN works on my laptop, but I'm attempting to set it up via the router for my xbox one. Going through hide my ass which I figured was the best option for the netduma as it came preloaded with a quick log in feature...

Can you follow this please and see if it resolves it http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=common_vpn_errors I've tried this and it does not solve the issue, even when I uncheck enable and click apply it just loads and eventually will state "Failed to communicate with the router"
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 11, 2016 Administrators Posted April 11, 2016 Just to be clear you have a HMA subscription and are entering the username/password you used to sign up for the account unless you have another after purchasing?
cjones1130 Posted April 11, 2016 Author Posted April 11, 2016 Of course....as stated in my earlier post using the VPN software on my laptop works great. Its almost as if this feature is just faux on the router...unless I'm completely missing something (which is a possibility) But I've already reset the router and tried again as well.
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted April 11, 2016 Netduma Staff Posted April 11, 2016 It may be that the server is no longer active as unless they've been updated recently, the HMA configs on the router are out of date I think. Pick a config from this list, copy and paste it into the advanced VPN section then enter your username and password and see if it connects
