Sorry to be a newsence but i may need help

i downloaded 2 files  i can see one is a guide but i dont know what the other one is

Ive read the guide i understood that part

So do i have to install anything to become a tester 

ie the first file you sent

You don't have to install anything. The guide is all you need, I think the 2nd attachment will be the picture in my signature. Just follow the guide and you're good to go.

I think that this game can now maybe get supported

Ive been noticing in the last week or so since i started to play this game again that the devs have changed the networking  system

Every game  i play pve and matchmake it puts me on a dedicated server european server 19ms ping great

Before pve was p2p

Fraser I will send you the id of the dedis later when i get to my pc if thats ok

Did you get the 2 emails  i sent you yesterday it had 1 id of dedi in europe and also psn server 

Im hoping i sent it to the right adress and it was written in the right format

what settings do u suggest? have u tried this in ghee dark zone (pvp)? i always lag there

I havent played the darkzone in a few months 

When i played darkzone i never lagged

 Since patch 1.4 on ps4 i play pve and iam getting real bad terrible lag spikes

Ive read a lot of people are experinceing the same problem

Also i noticed this game uses port 3608 udp and 55000 55002 i noticdd this from usingnetworkmointoring in duma settings

 

My settings are i think

I live in england 

Geo filter set to 1000km range

Ping assist to 0

Strict mode ticked

Btw  the dedis only show on the map if your in a group not solo for pve

I will try a few games of pvp  and report back

I  played the dark zone  fora while today i was  getting connectd to a dedi in holland all the time

I had a 19 ms ping  sounds great but the game was lagging often

But im sure its the games fault over patch 1.4 hopefully next pach may fix it

You may be connected to a dedi and not even know it is as  you cant temp ban them

do u use still frasers settings with the cloud settings? or is that out dated. also, should i open those ports u listed?

I've only got 1, nothing with any IDs in. Is it looking like its worthwhile to use the filter with the game?

From what im seeing now  yes you can use the geo filter 

There defently using some sort of dedis now for both pve and pvp

To get on a pve dedi u need to matchmake or create  a group if solo the dedis dont appear on map

For pvp you just need to enter the dark zone to get on a dedi

But the dedis that appear on map you cant temp ban them  so people might think that they arent dedis

Atm i only  have found two dedis  both located in holland

If u add it to the cloud update will the  dedis you added be able to be temp ban them

Interesting thats awesome. I haven't got your emails with ID's can you send it again along with a write up if possible on how you can effectively use the Geo-filter with the game/how it works exactly?

I dont do any thing to get the geo filter working it just connects to my nearest  dedi no matter what i do to the settings

I think it works great now

But people wont know there connected to a dedi  as they only appear once your in a group

As you cant temp ban them

Hope fully if more people post there dedi ids you could at it to the cloud update then they will all apear on map

That's so good to hear! Are you seeing anything being blocked on boot up of the game that could indicate there are dedicated servers to be added?

No nothing appears on geo filter or is being bloocked when you boot up the game 

Also dedis dont show on geo if you play solo  i dont know why that is pve  not pvp

They only appear when you group up or go in the darkzone ie pvp

On my geofilter only one dedi appears on my my map thats  the dedis ive wrote down to send to you later today

Also  i think maybe if you play solo pve  it might be p2p connection then for group  play they put you on a dedi now

Sounds like you are only able to get the closest possible server.

I set my ping asssist to 0  and i always find the holland dedis  with 19ms connection

Btw i have fttc connecton fiber optic

Mr victor what type connection do you have as 40ms seems high to me sounds like adsl connection to me
