RADDY1993
Hey guys i need some opinions on frame rates, i cant decide between 30fps and 60fps for my videos. Below are 2 videos i rendered out using Sony Vegas Pro 13 and captured with an Elgato HD60, the first video is 1080p and 30fps whilst the second is 720p and 30fps. Hopefully you guys can help me make a decision on what to stick with as i like the smoothness of 60fps but also like the quality of 1080p. Please watch the first i 1080p hHD and the second in 720p HD. Thanx guys 1080p 30fps 720p 60fps

RADDY1993
I prefer 1080p/60fps I can do 1080p 60fps but PC struggles and i get a few frame drops, thats why i asked about these videos as there the best combinations of picture ratio and frame rate i can get. Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted March 22, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted March 22, 2015 720p@60fps is much better imo
ltr7
The clarity and contrast of the 720 look great, but way to much blur during high speed events imo. I think the 1080 @30 flows better, either way I definitely need to get an Elgato the PS share isn't cutting it any more nice work!
RADDY1993
I think im going to stay with the 720p 60fps, it just has that smoother look.

Od1n
caputre in 720p@60fps and render it in 1080p@60fps if your capture card cannot handle the 1080p@60fps material edit: also so far only Chrome supporty youtube 60fps footage i think, so only a small group of your viewership will see a difference
