Ian88
Ahhhhh mixed advice.. I've just read a post somebody saying change the duma to 1400 I was going to ask do I change both the ps4 and the duma to that? Same question applies to the 8888 8844 dns.. PharmDawgg
For google dns servers set it in the R1 and either in your PS4 set dns to auto (which it should use the dns in the R1) or manually enter them. I did the latter. Really it should not matter. I use auto MTU.
Ian88
What about the mtu? I've changed the duma to 1400 but do I change both my ps4s aswel?
Ian88
I also disabled upnp on my isp router and unticked upnp forwarding on the duma.. Is this beneficial? Or just a huge waste of time? I'm struggling to get both my ps4s open on ops3 there's always one that's moderate no matter what I do.. Any tips buck mate?
PharmDawgg
I can't really speak on the MTU issue because I'm on the Xbox one and it does not allow you to change the MTU. And on the R1 I always leave auto MTU selected. But if I had to make a decision I probably would change it in each location and see how the game plays then do both ably the same time and play some more. See if the game play improves. Concerning the open nat on two consoles, Iain contacted Activision concerning a failed port not opening with upnp but I don't believe there has been any resolution.
