Dillinger
Hell Yeah! I backed that for like $20 when I first heard about. I don't do much Kickstarter and this was kind of an entry into that arena to see if this shit ever goes anywhere or if it's just another clever ploy to separate folks from their hard earned cash. I hope they build and release, even if it isn't up to "today's" standards.

JConnor
I've also heard a lot about this game, recently. Here is where making an online (MP) only game makes sense. It cuts the development time and allows the small team to focus on what is important to make the game the best it can be online. The irony is this game looks even more polished than the now three-year old DayZ "Alpha" that will probably never get out of Alpha, ironically. This is relevant because DayZ has a lot more resources and backing, yet they still haven't produced a remotely functioning game whereas "The Battalion" looks playable even in its Alpha state. It makes you wonder where all of this investor money goes in the case of DayZ, and other games...
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 18, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 18, 2016 Yeah I saw this, I've been wanting a great modern WW2 game for ages! Nothing we can really do until it's ready for release which could be a ways off.

Sgt-Greco
World moves forward. WW2 stories are awesome but only to be heard as milestones of bravery and patriotism, not gaming. Next generation's interest in WW2 willl be similar to your interest in WW1. What's your interest in WW1? Zero ? Below zero ? . . . . Stick with modern warfare. It's modern after all. Sgt-Greco
Conclusion: If someone's main goal is to make money out of gaming, Activision is giving free lessons. We are just to naive or romantic to comprehend.
