I mean, there is no need for a SMG class vs. a AR class, now, since they both do the exact same fucking thing #DansGame This game wasn't perfect at launch, but it was consistent. What's the worst you could do with these things. Rapid fire, auto burst, auto ads, control scripting.? I mean you can't change weapon specs can you? But it's never the connection (netcode), or other optimizations. It's always "balance, balance, balance" where they royally screw up the "balance" they established the day before. Some people will argue it's unprecedented for a AAA title to have daily updates, but these updates are more destructive than constructive IMO, ironically. BO3 feels like an Early Access game because of the daily updates that keep changing the meta game and game mechanics from one day to the next. In the end he only got one, the sword. £250 for a virtual sword.... I suppose he will look boss......while he dies in a hail of bullets. Anyway back on point...I'm happy that 3arch continue to fine tune the balance. Most developers wouldnt bother. It's fairness and balance that will allow the game to endure. The way Treyarch is doing it is ass-backwards, IMO. Instead of nerfing guns... Buff some of the weaker ones. Whenever something is nerfed it means a majority of the player base either can't use it, or doesn't like to use it because they don't like being killed by it. Hence, why SMGs now resemble ARs and vice versa. This is the wrong mentality, IMO. It wasn't that SMGs were OP. It was that most ARs were underpowered compared to SMGs. So, logic dictates buff the ARs to make them resemble their real life counter-parts so-to-speak. Make them deadly and "OP" at mid-to-long range, mostly long range. Then, just increase drop off distance for SMGs. This way, both weapon classes retain what makes them unique, but also "balances" the major problem of people using certain weapons more than others for every encounter. LOL - I got the Iron Jim, literally, with the first free set of in game tokens after I downloaded the patch. I had a theory that the Black Market stuff would be more heavily populated as soon as the patch dropped, so I saved a bunch of points and went CoD Gambling. I also got the Sword and a metric shit ton of "Geist" camo, which for some reason turns the Bow and Arrow chick into a Goth Latina with even more attitude...... smh I am one of the bigger fans of this series and I have having a hard time staying active. I took a few days off this past weekend and went away with the wife to the cabin..... and it was glorious. There were no BO3 issues anywhere to be found..... But I still came back, jumped on line yesterday as I had the day off and 2/2XP was in effect, to find that nothing new was indeed under the sun and the same shit was still there waiting to kill me off my streak. I do think the game has played "better" in the last week than it has since the Half Off Crytpo Sale, but only marginally so...... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You are probably right man, as I have yet to see anyone with as many hours grinding this game as you have. Every time I log on I see your most recent progress and then I look WAY back down the mountain at where I am (and I had two plus weeks off when the game dropped). LOL I have purchased some COD Points, but as I said previously, I purchased them to support the Development effort. I bought the extra slots pack, I always do and set my classes per map. I bought the C.O.D.E. WARRIOR package as well, because the cause it supports is important to me and mine. I am sure I was "rewarded" for having previously purchased in game content. I then played some games and earned enough for another RARE supply drop and got a crowbar (iron jim). I have friends that have been saving up their supply drops and opened 100s of them. Of all my friends, I estimate that we have opened over 1000 supply drops - resulting in just 1 iron jim, 1 mx garande, 1 crossbow and 1 marshal. I mean they are not even disguising it anymore with the 3 item slots rotating then stopping on your prizes Real bad example for the kids. I'll buy the DLC if the game is good. But real money just to spin the wheel.......Never, ever, ever.....no matter how rich I was. And the day that you are required to spend real money on this casino shit to give you items to allow you compete with others who are doing it is they day COD dies for me. it got pretty close to that with the Bal Obsidian Steed in AW and Ive got a real bad feeling about the recent crap in black ops.
