Jeremy
I've been experiencing 4-6 drops per evening with my service for the last few weeks. I called my ISP last night while it was down and they said they show a clear signal and were able to transmit data to my modem. They told me my modem has been connected, without interruption for months and that the problem lies within my router. Any ideas on what this could be? Akic
Are you on the latest firmware? I was getting this up until the last update
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 12, 2016 Administrators Share Posted January 12, 2016 How long do the drop outs last for? Does it resolve itself automatically? Do you hear a beep indicating the router may be restarting?
Jeremy
How long do the drop outs last for? Does it resolve itself automatically? Do you hear a beep indicating the router may be restarting? About 2-3 minutes. It fixes itself. No beeping or sounds. Just drops, then comes back. Jeremy
Same here, having those issues too. Hate that you have it, but I'm glad it isn't just me at the same time. I was starting to blame my ISP on this.

Asentrix
Have you tried factory resetting your DUMA?Also do you have wifi workaround enabled? (I know you're wired but it could be causing issues)The wifi workaround messed me up last week too, disabling it fixed it for me Also do you have password protection on the 192.168.88.1 enabled?I noticed a while back when I enabled it , for some reason it made a few of my devices disconnect randomly

Not sure on the wifi workaround. What's that exactly?
PharmDawgg
Usually if someone is having wifi drops they have the wifi workaround selected. And deselecting it helps stops wifi dropouts.

That makes sense, but it's weird that it would drop wired connections too.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 14, 2016 Administrators Share Posted January 14, 2016 When it happens are you able to access the interface? If so check the network monitor, does it show no data at all?
