s1rtoast Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 My NAT type on ps4 goes between strict and moderate. I go to my verizon router settings and find UPnP already on, but i still have a strict NAT type on ps4. It says i need to open port 3074 on my router but im not quite sure how, im scared to mess with anything and make things worse
MrWhooz Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Could you please have a look at this guide to see if it fixes the issue.

Tommy885 Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Why are you using the Verizon router instead of the R1 ?
s1rtoast Posted January 2, 2016 Author Posted January 2, 2016 the verizon router works much better for me in my situation. I couldn't get the R1 working for me in my house so i switched back to my original router and found myself getting much better performance.

s1rtoast Posted January 2, 2016 Author Posted January 2, 2016 150mb over 150mb. Testing from the same spot i got 100 over 100 mb wireless on my phone compared to 10 over 10 with the duma. Ive followed all the steps to making sure i get the best speed. The hardware in the duma is weak in my opinion however the software is fantastic.
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted January 6, 2016 Netduma Staff Posted January 6, 2016 pls help... I'm not sure how to get an open NAT with Verizon - you may have a faster response posting on their forum.
PharmDawgg Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I'm not sure how to get an open NAT with Verizon - you may have a faster response posting on their forum. I agree with Crossy I think you would be better served in a Verizon support forum.
