_ThatSkinnyDude Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Hi everyone! I recently updated to the latest firmware and am now having trouble with my connection on my devices over wifi. I do have wifi workaround enabled. Any ideas why?

Zennon Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Did you reset ? if so the default wifi password is netdumar1. If not un-tick the WiFi workaround in misc settings.

I have unchecked the workaround and reset the netduma then rechecked wifi workaround and reset and I still seem to have connection issues. I only use wifi for my phones and my wireless printer. So it's not a huge deal, but I'd like to keep the R1 as the main wifi so I can control usage while I game. (Obviously lol)

_ThatSkinnyDude Posted December 23, 2015 Author Posted December 23, 2015 Yeah I am under 40 over wifi on my phone. I'm jailbroken so I have wifi analyzer. It shows another connection running right along with me. So I should change my R1 from channel 7 or whatever I'm on to say 9?
Zennon Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Channels overlap so say 5 touches 4 and 6. I would move it to the lest populated and even better if there is a channel that has no bleed from other channels

I changed channels on the Duma and I'm still having slow connection. It's better now, but still hit bumps in the road at least twice a day. Ideas??

_ThatSkinnyDude Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 Tom, I have the router right next to my PS4 with 4 wireless devices running off of wifi. My two cellphones a wireless printer and occasionally a friends phone. Other than that the Duma is away from everything.

_ThatSkinnyDude Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 Only reason I know it ha something to do with the Duma is because I'll have no connection while trying to watch videos or update a post like this. But when I switch from the netduma wifi to my actual wifi I have no issue at all downloading, posting, or streaming videos.
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted December 29, 2015 Administrators Posted December 29, 2015 Erm can you make sure on "Congestion Control" you reset distribution and don't touch the flower thing then have anti-flood set to 100%. Does the problem go away? Also make sure the wifi on the other router is disabled when you're using the Netduma wifi as they may interfere with each other.
