-
Just curious to what esports games you need a vpn for?
-
thats the best way to connect it DUMA as the first device, how i have mine setup
-
No, waiting for it also, hopefully available in next update
-
Definitely possible with correct hardware and location. I didnt even think it could be a thing to i watched Jufes (Frame Chasers) stream back in early 2020 testing gpu settings in warzone and he was at a solid 3ms with a asus router
-
i have posted multiple videos of it to this forum and on my youtube.

something definitely off dont know if its hardware or firmware based, i tested the last 2 weeks, just plugging the r3 in and no changes on original firmware 23+ ping disabling all wifi with factory settings (nothing tinkered with) ping dropped 5 to 7 ping completely setting up the router to cater to my needs (COD only) - had no change at all to ping or game play upgrading to beta .23 ping dropped from 16 to 11 with factory settings and with custom settings, i currently have every options disabled and on a server (IP address) that i would get a 2 to 3ms ping on will not get lower then a 11 just to confirm i plugged my r2 back in and both MP and warzone dropped back down to a 2 and 3 ping with the r3 from out of the box firmware and settings to beta 23 with customer settings there has not been any difference in the gameplay. no lag no packet loss. hit detection is as it should do not have to vpn or dumb down connection to not get nerfed by the game cause you had a very good last game with the r2 it has to be dialed in to get a good gaming experience. would just like to compare the r3 and r2 once they have same ping. to there's another firmware update i will be sticking with the r2

Can i get beta access
-
i have been dealing with this issue since the r1. It has to be something with the DUMAOS, The r3 is a little better but still bounces from 900 to 1g (I have a 2gig fiber connection by the way) also i need to do more testing i cant get ping to drop under 12ms on the r3 but on the r2 i was able to dial it in to 2 and 3ms and my default router from frontier was at a 5 to 6ms ping. Maybe ill disable all the wifi stuff since i only have pc and xbox hard wired to it and see if the heat and voltages change. kinda thinking with all the upgrades they did to the wife components and nothing to the hard wire components its causing extra heat or interference.

Only one person can play online at one time
TODDzillaInLA replied to Lulustevie's topic in Call of Duty Support
Only way its going to work for her is to put one in dmz and port forward the other, if you leave upnp its going to use the same ports for both devices. one device will be moderate and the other will be strict. but both will be able to play at the same time -
Microsoft went out of there way to stop you from using pc to view clips and screenshots from xbox on pc, have to upload them from xbox to one drive now so this was the first game on, duma r3 straight out the box with no modifications at all, little higher ping then what i normally get but i get that dialed in later. i will post more videos later today after i get some sleep Call of Duty®-2023_12_19-08_36_56.mp4

Got my r3 couple days ago, will upload game play from my first game on with it as soon as I figure out how to get the video off my phone and onto the forum . Still need to dial in settings but at the moment if your hardwired and have a r2 there’s no need to upgrade
-
ISP router is blocking all the permissions the duma router is trying to do. you're getting the better gaming experience because of the little bit of slowdown going through the two devices.
-
when i play multiplayer yes, when i play warzone sliders and bandwidth are maxed and because i have 2gig internet its basically have the sliders at 50% the duma router has never given me accurate speed test with the r1 and or the r2 hopefully this is not a issue and they fix this with the r3 here is some gameplay over the weekend in game 2 to 3 ping. someone watching the stream clipped it https://clips.twitch.tv/UnsightlyTiredMelonCmonBruh-VL2TUFojO4xe1ynT?tt_content=url&tt_medium=clips_api

Yes , keep sliders at 100% and start with download at 25mb and upload at 5 and move them up 5mb at a time to you find the sweet spot
-
your at 1000 so at 100% your still at 1000 so just change the the download and upload to 30 / 5 and then keep moving them 5mb up from there to you find your sweet spot and ill do the test when i get home from work
-
No, keep qos sliders at 100% and set you download and upload to 30 / 5 and see how that works for you move up 10mb at a time to see if it makes a difference for you everyone's gaming environment is different for older cods i use to run 20 / 5 for multiplayer. also again i have mine set to 60 / 10 because my over all bandwidth is 2gige and the duma only supports up to 1gige so pretty much its like my sliders are at 50% by default

if you want the fastest dns for your location download dns benchmark tool GRC's | DNS Nameserver Performance Benchmark

sure, and i have posted this many times though out this whole forum, ping use to be king up to call of duty ghost , they reversed the lag compression engine so the player with the worst connection got favored and the players with fast / good internet got handicapped. Faster your connection the worst your game experience on call of duty. the 60 / 10 is actually 30 / 5 it manipulates the lag compression engine, and it gives you better hit detection and if you do not use a geo filter it will put you in lobbies close to your physical location. Just remember the more you dedicate your internet to your gaming experience the worst the internet is going to be for all other nongaming devices in your house hold.

CALL OF DUTY IS MANIPULATING YOU
TODDzillaInLA replied to l2eactionz's topic in Call of Duty Support
port forward correct ports for your device then turn off upnp and you will have open nat if you have multiple devices on the same network and you have port forwarding for your device and your nat type is not set to open close the game reboot the router and it will get your device to priority and give you the open nat type, sometimes when your device is off and you have poeple in the house hold playing when your not it could give them the open nat -
MW3 MP - 60 down 10 up with both sliders at 100% is the sweet spot for me. 2 and 3 ping lobbies all day long with geo filter enabled to home pin. Current warzone download and upload set to full 1000mb and the qos sliders at 100% download 100% upload i have a 2gige fiber internet so duma only supporting 1gige pretty much makes my sliders 50%. will see what warzone is looking like tomorrow.

TODDzillaInLA replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
Do not know if this has been asked already but why no support for up to 2 and 5gig internet connections?
