is the r3 the first device in your chain or is it sitting behind another modem or modem / router combo? -

The only clown here is you, They have your money and you are unhappy 👍 I know how to FAFO and i got the R3 to work better then you could imagine But thats what the real issue is here, You and most of others do not take the time to figure out your best settings you all want to be spoon-fed and copy and past. Good luck with that. -

You guys are funny, How do you feel so entitled? Also it does not matter what it is YOU DO NOT BUY ANYTHING NEW THAT COMES OUT you wait and let the bugs get worked out or you help work out the bugs without bitching every day for a update. Do your Due diligence next time before purchasing something!!! and do not reply back about anything kind of literature not being on the website blah blah blah cause no other company does that either, IT COMES WITH THE TERRORITY IN TECHNOLOGY and everything else in this world! -
Hit detection does not get better then this!!! Play it at 0.25x https://clips.twitch.tv/CrepuscularPlumpToothPogChamp-X8VbWrEALYT-qU9d

Firmware anxiety is real lol. crazy how a $800 dollar asus router has the same firmware anxiety at least members on the asus forum are a little more respectful. If not they get banned grass always greener on the other side huh -
Not really a subject for this thread but EOMM and SBMM was created cause a weaker society decided little Timmy and Billy deserved a trophy for just showing up. The whole losing your gun fight because of connection or blaming your router not working properly and not cause your just bad at the game... well If your router is set up correctly the only time your gaming experience will change is cause of the tick rate of the cod servers being so low and the server your on is over saturated (COD is only at 20 when every other online game is 30 to 128). If you lock your geo filter down to specific servers only you can avoid a ton of those bad gun fights. People complained about this in older cods that used P2P for MP and now you revenge spawn in MP, proxy mines and motor strikes stronger for bum players in WZ when it takes 2 proxy mines to down someone or your motor strike does nothing at all. Also there's ways around eomm / sbmm with the geo filter. Activision has been recording every single online game since black ops II and maybe even before that but they let you know they did when they put theater mode in the game and no one said anything about it. For the digital finger print so AI can actually ban you and it does not matter how many new accounts you make. Some cheat providers have already implied a offset scale and there will never ever be two of the same movements. Unfortunately this is the world we live in and its easier for most humans to be negative instead of positive. This forum and especially this thread is 100% prof of that. Just my 2cents.
-
lol you got farmed by a youtube video and now you have mtu anxiety. 🤦♂️ There are plenty of threads on the forum that will point you in the right direction on best mtu settings for what you are trying to achieve.

Some extremely ungrateful members in this forum. the R3 does its job. https://clips.twitch.tv/CuteSpoopyEagleChocolateRain-Dnxo_nIk8rb5QW5p Have patience!!! Why would you want a rushed firmware thats not ready? You guys are complaining, you think rushing them is going to make your gaming experience better? Yes it has a couple hiccups but all pc components / consoles and software do too, why they are always updating firmware, software, and drivers... have patience

Anxiety going crazy huh

security is not even a issue, i do not even have windows defender installed on my pc i have a custom version of windows 10 with no bloatware and on my fiber internet connection it goes from the ONT straight to the duma nothing in-between and the reason you do not want to use dmz is cause there is nothing to prioritize the ports. at that point which can cause all kinds of different issues. if the wrong port is being used cause there is no instructions for the correct port to be used
-
the only way i can do it anymore RIGHTER is to get a router that supports my internet connection. i have a spectrum 1gige connection for the whole house, i have fios 2gige just for my gaming, You never want to put anything in DMZ if you do not have to, Portforward should always be first choice, upnp if you cant figure it out on your own, DMZ if you dont want to FAFO
-
better is more of a personal preference. there is a couple asus routers that would be BETTER for me since they support up to 2 and 5gige fiber connections. but the r3 for the price is a really good inexpensive alternative.
-
You guys are really giving him a hard time cause he took a pic with his phone thats wild... its the tick rate of the cod servers that is the problem, you dont run into any of that when its p2p but the r3 does get the jpb done, dropped a warzone nuke with no kills on easter lol https://www.twitch.tv/toddzillainla/clip/SingleLittleMarjoramGivePLZ-4ZXyk8eAOeAp-G4j then dropped a multiplayer nuke right after https://www.twitch.tv/toddzillainla/clip/InnocentDeliciousCucumberDancingBanana-63HRPdVD6BRRZEBF
-
you can set them to 0 but thats not the point of the exercise
-
theres so many post about this, set the gaming device to a static ip, reserve the ip on the duma, port forward 3074 disable upnp, reboot the duma from the menu then power cycle what ever device your trying to play on pc or console hold the power butting down for 30 seconds to turn it off, unplug the power cable, hold the power button down again for another 30 seconds plug the power cable back in then turn on the device. by this time your duma should be back online, YOUR WELCOME open nat type, if your nat type is not open you didnt follow the directions
-
If you use DMZ, should you disable Upnp?
TODDzillaInLA replied to Gskillz's topic in Netduma R3 Support
whats the goal? -
lower them to 30 / 30 and see what it does?
-
LOL more firmware ANIXETY!!! Besides no VPN not being enabled i do not see any issue with the r3. Also if you went to asus or msi and bugged for a update eta you would be banned so have a little respect for the mods and the staff here. Whap problems are you encountering? Nothing a little FAFO can't fix!!!
