How much time do you have? 😅 Just kidding. My settings probably won’t work the same for you because everyone’s gaming environment is different. If you check out my videos, you’ll see the exact settings I use. You can use those as a baseline and tweak them to what fits your setup best. Just keep in mind: I’m on 2-gig fiber, and the R3 only supports 1-gig, so my congestion control is basically cut in half by default. Your results may vary depending on your connection and local network.

Hey, appreciate it! 👊 I’ve actually got both — 2 Gbps Frontier Fiber for my gaming/streaming network, and Spectrum 1 Gbps cable for the rest of the house (kids, TVs, phones, etc.). I’ve posted videos showing my current setup: bandwidth reservation at 20 Mb up/down, all correct ports forwarded for whatever platform I’m playing on. Honestly, I think the “secret sauce” is how most people over-adjust their bandwidth sliders for bufferbloat. The R3 already handles that for me — since it only supports up to 1 Gbps and my line is 2 Gbps, it naturally keeps the traffic balanced. For Warzone, I run both sliders at 92%, and on the bufferbloat test my latency stays around 2–4 ms with 0 ms upload/download spike. For Multiplayer, I tighten it further — around 50 Mb down / 30 Mb up — just to keep the hit reg feeling extra snappy. ⚡

Just ran into a blatant cheater in Resurgence. Full mag dump, not a single hitmarker. Tracked him down thinking maybe I just missed… nope. He ran to a squad of what looked like Dollar Tree wizards, and not one of them could be touched either. Meanwhile, legit players are getting DirectX crashes and 0x05 errors if they overclock their systems. Other games run perfectly fine, but BO6 and Warzone punish you for tuning your rig… yet stuff like this is still running wild?
