Wr3ck3r reacted to Netduma Fraser in Ping Optimizer has encountered a problem
As others mentioned we're aware it's not 100% accurate at the moment and the alternatives are:
Speed Test - Enter your speeds manually / use speedtest.net and then enter speeds manually Ping Optimizer - Adjust Congestion Control manually (which is what PO does for you), start with 70% which is a good starting point and adjust from there if needed -

C'est juste lié à la façon dont est connecté le R3 derrière votre FAI ...
C'est connu... mais très facilement résoluble ! 😉

@Wr3ck3rIt's a known issue currently being addressed. It doesn't impact the router, and you can use speedtest.net as an alternative.

That's much better, more like what we would expect to see, it'll be your setup then

No disadvantages, it will work just fine set that way

Wr3ck3r got a reaction from Krush in Xbox Game Pass PC Workaround Call of Duty
Changing the PC icon to Console to get the Geo-Filter to work for Xbox Game Pass is a great workaround for Call of Duty. It seems that is the only way to get the Geo Filter to work. Are there any disadvantages to leaving my PC as "Console" even when playing the game through my Battlenet account? It seems to be working fine...so far.

Just checked...the card was set to: 10Gbps Full Duplex
I'm surprised that this is the default setting for that card. Thanks for the suggestion. I never would have thought of looking at that. Now I have it set to Auto Negotiation. I actually reordered the R3 now that I have more information on how to set it up properly.

Any router should work with any network card really, I've not specifically heard of any incompatibilities with any network cards over the years - it may be you needed to change it's mode specifically on the card to 1000 for it to work correctly.

For sure. It was probably because I’m running this as a secondary router. It worked as it should but I had to add a lower network card in my pc to actually connect to it. I’m really hoping for a 10g version.
