@TODDzillaInLAThere is no way to tell go and test it yourself lmfao connect to a call of duty vpn then check whats your ip address watch it provide the same ip as your home ip address a call of duty vpn is not a normal vpn nor do they work as a normal vpn or in the same way .. As for second server you will see more then one server if using a vpn or geo Thats the vpn location then the other is server location .. I have used a vpn in cod for over 3 years .. I actually dont use other cod vpns like 99% user base do i use one i made myself as its so easy to create this how ano about all info i have and what ports can be used so on av tested everything i even have a kd stats so i can see what locations give what lobby kd for each match i dont just connect to a server and say its good i have the full results to back up what i say ...

@TODDzillaInLA You do know cod cant see you using a vpn the vpns used for cod do not work as you think they do and only send certain traffic making the game think you are somewhere you really aint its tricking the game and system in place you aint even really at that location lmfao So meaning no way for them to even track whos using a vpn .. Just for your info a normal vpn wont work it needs call of duty ip address added to the vpn config to provide you with low ping rather then a high ping .. Also using 443 port makes no odds can use any test and see for yourself makes no odds what ports used its all about the location you select

His shadow was nothing todo with what he done if cod detects anything its a straight perm ban no shadow ban .. A shadow ban is report based .. If the game detects anything its a straight perm ban .. Reason to why he may of been shadowed was probs due to the fact to what he done witch then made his lobbys easy then before meaning he dropped more kills then he normally does ect being in a low skilled lobby meaning he probs got reported .. As for game crashing if use cronus no it dont lol they blocked a usb cable only all cronus done was use the other USB port lmfao so no its not banned at all never was .. They only patched the REWASD could easy be back up and running if owner behind it really wanted to aint hard .. Alot of wrong info here .. They are not shadow banning for vpns but what they are doing is making your connection worse .. A vpn does not break there tos or nor does it stats you cant use one either this where people are going wrong they are only effecting the users with vpns that are abusing match making a normal vpn ect is fine .. Why are they gonna shadow a vpn users when they allow there hand picked whitelisted streamers to 2box in lobbys It was confimred by Jgod that cod allows 2boxing so why on earth are they going to shadow ban vpns users lol all they are doing is effecting the ping of them players to make games worse not ban them lol

@satinghostrider If you have disabled QOS correctly that should also be disabled as it disables all the priority feature if you select on smart boost it will state it same as ping optimize .. Make sure you are connection to close servers to you not servers far away .. Cod made chnages in recent anti cheat update to combat vpns & geo ect so they are adding on ping thrusholds to people using geo & vpns your ping is getting ping added on other words hense its best to stay close to you

I had this issue was a nightmare whoever made that firmware screwed it up bad lol .. How they put a select option behind where you cant select it or click on it is crazy and it just got left like that not been resolved yet weather its older firmware or not users still use older firmwares as newer ones or not stable or are worse then older ones its unacceptable and very poor service ... 99% Of firmwares are bugged or dont work when i first got my R3 firmware was fine worked correctly till something was done netdumas side then its messed everything up on all firmwares till this day not found a stable firmware yet that fully works as intended ...

Qos is really only good if your internet suffers from bad traffic example if you have loads of other devices using the internet at the same time Enabling Qos actually makes games worse .. Its been proven this .. What your are doing using qos is limiting your speeds you actally get to lower speeds you want full speeds while gaming ... The thing to keep in mind is QOS is of very limited value when you only control one end. So you can prioritize packets going outbound, but only as far as the next hop (ISP). Inbound not much you can do. Prioritizing within your LAN is feasible but I don't believe Asus QOS does anything with that, you'd need a switch with QOS features. QOS can do more harm than good too, all it is doing is putting pseudo limitations on the connection, making some devices think there is saturation and others think it is all good. This really only works for TCP traffic, UDP not so much. The QOS process also adds a bit of latency to process the packets. If the latency is beyond the router, QOS will do more harm than good (even if it isn't, that's usually the case, it is only needed if you are saturating the connection with other things, like running a large file upload while gaming. If the link is not saturated, QOS will only hurt, not help). It isn't like it is going to accelerate packets beyond the speed of light or anything. ...

As good as some features are on R3 SQM feature ect It just lacks to other routers that also support SQM .. This is results from my standard providers eero Pro 6E .. Using the Netduma R3 i was not seeing anywhere close to results like this.. This is without even touching any settings at all ... Netduma need to rework their firmware as to me 99% of releases ones are broken half the features either dont work or aint stable enough ....

I can confirm the new firmware does not fix speed reduction issues I have tested and had to downgrade seems its only the upload that is the issue download for me is fine but upload its very very low My stanard speeds are 983MB D - U 310MB Using duma software to run a speed test results 800MB D - U 30Mb .. If i do a speed test using speed net website i get my full results of speeds i get its only when i use the duma speed test i get the wrong results having this issues means i cant use ping opt due to upload will just state NA everytime due to not getting the full upload speeds am getting .. This also would indicate to what the issue is or causing it av disbled everything from smart boost to Geo nothing worked .. Downgraded to 285 got my full speeds back ..

I seem to of fixed my ping optimizer Issue... Please add a Auto schedule reboot system ... Many users have already requested this ... This is very needed i noticed that the reboot feature in the routor does not fully reboot the routor sometimes it must not be shutting down fully .. All i done was press the back off button for 5 seconds then turned the routor back on bingo It works again .. I had tried many reboots using the reboot feature with many failed attempts.. Yet a simple turn it off worked at the power button ..SmartBoost Priorities is still auto deleting what i add but my gaming one is fine only one that works and stays without auto deleting .. I did notice after a reboot the Priorities added loads of stuff itself i had to delete that aint used or ever selected . I will try do some futher testing

Just a follow up have tried Early Access from testing the update does not fix any of the issues i have listed above and i find that the ping optimizer is worse then before so i am going to roll back firmware , Priorities are still not saving auto delete once you add them Example if i add openvpn it auto deletes it tried adding just the vpn option that does not even become active with using openvpn for some reason hense am trying to add openvpn option only to priorities witch it keeps auto deleting have found also that without openvpn in priorities its not just the openvpn option others do the same .. Ping Optimizer sets itself to 99% on both yet am still getting bad bloatware and bad results.. Yet few days before hand i was getting 0 rating with great results 85%congestion .. As stated this was all working fine last week i only just upgraded due to issues on the last firmware before hand .. I started to notice hitreg issues in games takes full clip to kill someone while it takes them 5 bullets to kill me my connection itself is fine tested with no other devices running but my pc to routor ect still the same

@Netduma Fraser Nothing has changed other then set the Mac Adress to the correct one as the last digit was not correct .. I dont understand how it was working for i got it setup perfect for a few days then all sudden its just not working correctly .. Its even effecting my in game hitreg in call of duty , Lagging ect now and then like stutters all this started together when routor started acting up Have rebooted many of times checked all settings so on just to make sure .. Ping Optimizer & SmartBoost are not working in the recent firmware 4.0.236 They was working then all sudden now give either the sliders on ping opti wont move or change .. SmartBoost you add Priorities and it just audo deletes them straght afterwards by itself refresh page does the same after adding any priorites ... I dont understand how it was all working fine few days ago then now its not its so unstable atm this needs addressed .. I also noticed On the routor itself that its not even copying the correct Mac Address and its adding the wrong info to the routor causing issues as its using a false Mac Address.... If there a new firmware that will fix this when can we expect theses issues resolved feels like am going round in circles with issues none stop .. Please just release a stable version give the beta to the correct people who will beta test and give the info you need back .......

@Bdboy That is just call of duty servers they lag all the time .. You do know cheaters have software to ddos the servers to making the whole lobby lag on top of poor quality servers that they have downgraded since wz1 .. A closer connecting should always be better then a connection futher away as its results in data having to be sent twice as far ect hense higher pings so on

@Netduma Fraser Can we also get the guides added manuals for R3 on the website of duma site please.. There is none for the R3 every other routor settings , Manual is available but for R3 .. Yeah i kinda got that idea once i tried everything then i come here to forms to see if anyone else had the same issue witch they did so kinda of helped with the answer i was looking for .. Is there anyways to preventing this in future as it makes the router useable the router does not response once this happens witch aint very good at all not something that shouldn't happen at all .. Where if there was some kind of back up in place to reflect what the issue is would help alot .. Example people work from home if that issue happens again its a big let down as you cant do anything but wait with no time frame to when it will work again .. I spent over 5 hours trying to solve a issue that was not even my end issue was the router software or servers it uses ...

@Netduma Fraser Thats great to hear i got mine working after 5 hours but was.limited on what it could do like ping optimizer will give it a test see how it is now from before as certain things would not work after it came back online .

Seems to be duma server issue or cloud issues they use router is working but ping optimizer aint and av found its causing issues like setting my upload speed to 1000mg while i do a ping test or ping opt am not changing the speeds or touching anything to make them change .. Never had issues till now but whatever they doing needs fixed asp making the device unusable as the device don't even load or even boot into main duma menu lucky if it does took over 5 hours for mine to work rebooted reset different firmwares tested everything was the same no matter what i done

If more of us are having the exact issue its maybe duma server side issue or alike that hense we having the issues i could be wrong tho just a guess but funny we all got same issue exact same time

Am having theses exact issues as above now cant load the interface up or nothing just blank loading screen staing ther eis no internet connection yet am online right now connected to it but dumos sofware is not working at all
