Serbian Gamer got a reaction from Zli in Any News?
I only have one internet for PS5 and another for other devices in the house. Nothing on the wifi connection is attached to the R3. I use cable internet 500/50, it's not optical, but it's not that bad either. I have everything set up correctly. I've been struggling with your router for months, because it doesn't reduce latency unlike the Asus one, which I unfortunately sold thinking that your router would work better. Your router works as far as the geo filter and other things are concerned, but unfortunately it doesn't have the power to reduce latency like the Asus gaming router. My download latency on the speed test shows me 50ms, upload latency 40ms. When I connect the Asus router, it reduces the latency to 10ms for both Download and Upload, but unfortunately, the Asus router does not select a server like on your R3. When I connect you R3, the latency goes down very little. Download from 50ms to 32ms, upload from 40ms to 30ms. And that's what the problem is with your router. It doesn't have the power to reduce latency. The Net Gear RX 1000 was much better at reducing latency. Just tell me your plans for the future please? Will there be any improvement soon or not? Yes I know. Because I want to sell Net Duma R3 router. Not to wait unnecessarily. I wasted a lot of time trying to get your router to work optimally.

Will you add that the router has an option to reduce latency? Because your R3 doesn't do that at all. It works even better when I remove it. What are your plans for the future? And when can we expect improved latency through your router? Your firmware should be better. It seems to me that there are a lot of bugs and that is why there is a high latency. For nothing, you added that the server can be selected when the latency is too high. I've had the router for 6 months now and I'm quite disappointed

Serbian Gamer got a reaction from Zli in R3 Geo-filter doesn't work for me. I need help.
I did as you told me, but it had no effect. Geo-filter still not working for EFootball. I turned off the DMZ and nothing helped. It still throws me on non-Geo-filter servers. Servers where the ping is 70-80ms, which is very bad. Then I tried with Upnp turned off and that didn't help either. I do not know what to do. I'm afraid I wasted my money on this router. For me from Serbia, it cost 350 pounds, which is not a small amount of money, especially for us from Serbia. You are great guys, but unfortunately I don't think there is a solution for Efootball.

The server outside does appear to be blocked - can you use a PC to access instead and zoom out fully on the map? Your radius is very strict so it might be forcing you outside due to that through a relay server, expand your radius to cover a couple of servers and see whether it is more consistent.

Hi Fraser, this server is displayed when the Playstation 5 is connected on the menu (the eFootball 2024 game is not started).

NAT Type 1 = Open NAT connected direct to a modem
NAT Type 2 = Open NAT connected to a router
So it is impossible to get NAT Type 1 through the router, it's also unnecessary as you'll already be open

Serbian Gamer reacted to Netduma Alex in NEW R3 FIRMWARE - 4.0.219
Hi everyone,
The wait is over, we're happy to deliver the latest R3 firmware. It contains months of work from our development team, with a big focus on improving the stability and reliability of our features.
Main Changes:
Hybrid VPN is here: this is long standing Netduma feature which allows you to run your VPN through your router and then choose which devices or applications the VPN should be applied to. This means you can run your VPN on things that usually hard run a VPN on, such as Smart TVs and consoles. Hybrid VPN is compatible with OpenVPN and WireGuard, so make sure your VPN provider supports one of these protocols. Added UPnP Relay. Previously, if your R3 was connected underneath an ISP router, you'd likely see a Double NAT reported on your games console unless you did some manual port forwarding. UPnP Relay pushes port opening requests from your devices up the chain to your ISP router, meaning you should get an open NAT with no additional configuration needed Some users reported issues with Chromecast or Airplay, or transferring files locally. These are fully fixed now. Many quality of life / annoying bugs fixed, including improved IPv6 and PPPoE support, increasing the reliability of the Geo-Filter ping graph and increasing the reliability of the Ping Optimiser test (with further improvements to come) A longer changelog is below.
We want the Netduma R3 to be the best router in the world, and we're taking another step towards that goal with this firmware. We'll continue working on and releasing updates, so please give us any feedback you have.
INSTALL GUIDE
You can install the firmware using one-click update. Simply open up DumaOS and look for the green "Update Available" icon.

Serbian Gamer got a reaction from andy45 in Geo-Filter not working on eFootball
Try to block TCP ports from 100 or 1000 to 65535. Then the game efootball will be forced to search online UDP connection for matchmaking.

Some people say UPnP is fine, others they need to port forward to get an Open NAT

Serbian Gamer got a reaction from euphidra in Upnp versione .41
@euphidraBro don't open ports. Just block TCP ports from 1000 to 65535, and thats it. You must play efootball only on UDP connection...

Serbian Gamer reacted to Proud R3 Owner in Stast Steady Ping
I notice when I'm playing pubG I also have steady ping enabled but my in game latency jumps all over the place. I thought we were just supposed to have a higher consistent ping rather than jumping around. Not trying to be a jerk about it or anything, it's just a game after all but I thought you'd like to know. I'm on .41 fw, hard reset. I do have Geo latency on, ping assist on at 40, smart boost on with gaming as #1 priority. I have an fttc connection 1000/40 with my Internet speed manually set to 800/30 and cc set to 95/90 always on. I get +0 on waveform (A+) so I know that's working although speed test bypass always comes back on after restart (and yes I know you're aware it's ok). I have ip6 off as well as STP, telemetry, remote access and adblock. Seems to be decently snappy as far as the os and network usage is concerned and I'm not noticing a lot of cpu spikes. All in all I think the team is on the right track and this community is awesome providing logs and so much feedback. Cheers to us all!!

You don't have to put your existing modem in bridge mode, it will work without doing that but it is advised. Alternatively you can put it in the DMZ on your modem instead. Yes we offer 1 working day shipping from our website to Serbia. I would recommend you familiarise yourself with customs restrictions just in case you need to pay.

Serbian Gamer reacted to Netduma Alex in NEW R3 FIRMWARE 4.0.41
Hi everyone,
We have a brand new R3 firmware for you. It includes many important fixes based on the feedback we received since the launch, including addressing issues with Steady Ping and Geo-Filter 2.0 to make them more reliable. The full change log is provided at the bottom of this thread.
Over the next few days, you will be able to upgrade automatically by clicking on the 'Update Available' option in your user interface (both mobile and desktop). However, if you prefer, you can manually upgrade your R3 now using a PC or laptop by following these steps:
Download the attached upgrade file. Reboot your R3 - this is a one-off as this new firmware contains improvements to make manual upgrading smoother in the future. Go to the Netduma R3 user interface on your PC/laptop. Navigate to >Settings >Troubleshooting and then click Upload Firmware. Choose the file and then upload it. You'll need to wait a few minutes for the upload to complete.. If you upgraded to version 4.0.40 last week, we recommend upgrading to this new 4.0.41 as soon as possible. The previous firmware had a niche packet reordering bug affecting login issues for games like Fortnite. It also made Geo-Filter 2.0 less reliable. These issues are now fixed in the latest release.

What's Next?
Good news: Hybrid VPN development is complete for the R3 and is now in testing. We've redesigned the frontend for Hybrid-VPN to make it easier and clearer compared to DumaOS 3. We're excited for you to try it out! In the next few days, we'll be moving it to closed beta testing, and if all goes well, we should have it with you very soon along with fixes to make Ping Optimiser run more reliably and improved IPv6 support.
Please continue to provide us with your feedback so we can keep making your R3 experience better and better.

Thank you for using the Netduma R3.
