FrankTheFreak got a reaction from Krush in Wifi connection to Xbox Series X
@Fuzy Thanks for the suggestion. I have set as detailed and will test throughout the day and see how it goes.
I will try to move the router around, but I still believe this may have to do with the delay in connecting to 5Ghz, as I notice the 5Ghz network takes more time to show on my other devices (iPhone, Macbook Pro m1), as opposed to the 2.4Ghz network.
On device comparison, I feel the ASUS RT-AX86U Pro is very comparable hardware and price wise (in US), the other is a beast of a router (ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro) and more expensive and should have a hardware advantage.
I report back what I find with moving router and also the settings Fuzy suggested.
Thanks again!

I admit that the cable between the mezzanine and the xbox would be too mutch!
I have the same problem as you!
I may have found a solution while waiting for this to be studied and resolved.
I set an IP directly on the XBOX configuration page and it seems to work after several restarts of the xbox in wifi. It recovers WIFI access after 30 seconds maximum.
"Auto R3 WIFI setting and broadcasting of the SSID between the 2 frequencies"
(The xbox is in energy saving mode)
IPv6 LAN/WAN off
PS: Restart the R3 after the modifications

Attached some pics.
You could say the rail is causing interference, but with the other routers, they did not have any issues connecting on 5Ghz, like I experience with R3.
I returned the other routers because one was too expensive and the other, was a close call. Deciding factor was, I do very much like the Netduma interface and I do enjoy the community here on the forums.
Hoping to figure this one out. I don't want to settle to using 2.4Ghz, if at all possible. Thanks

Hi!
I don't have a Series X but I did the test on a Series S. (I think the wifi cards are the same) Try as in the screenshot.

@Fuzy Thanks! I’ll give it a try when I get back home.

FrankTheFreak got a reaction from Netduma Fraser in Xbox Network has Open NAT only when connected to Cardiff servers, yet I'm in Los Angeles, California USA
I’ll have to get back to you on that. I’ll get everything set the next time I play and when it occurs I’ll be sure to document.
Thanks again, Frank

FrankTheFreak reacted to Netduma Fraser in This is getting absurd
I did post this in a reply about a week ago in a topic:
Here is a rough change log so you can get an idea of what it includes. As you can see it's quite a beefy update, hence why it took longer than the previous ones.
Addition of Hybrid VPN Improved SmartBOOST performance Various frontend improvements Fix for memory leak (sometimes manifesting as being unable to access the interface) Potential fix for "frequent disconnects" issue Chromecast and local transfers fixed (this is the WiFi bug where devices can't communicate with each other when they're connected to the same WiFi band e.g. 2.4/2.4GHz) Fix for "No Internet Detected" bug in Setup Wizard IPv6 PPPoE now works with SmartBOOST Ping Optimizer reliability improvements UPnP Improvements -
