Time they release the beta they will be newer better quality routors out atm the XR1000 duma app is terrible slow as hell , half the stuff never works qos for example better of disabling it  provides worse performance ... Or if you run a few tests its never accurate ..  This is my first gaming routor never buying a netgear or duma again nothing but issues from start to finish .. The last decent update was like 2 years ago since updates have been poor with very min done within the updates

OK hold up. Let me see if I understand, based on what I've read so far. I want to clarify that I udnerstand that the router is Netgears, but the software is yours... which is what the problem is.
I visited this forum to go over news on the next XR1000 update, as when I bought it mid-last year, I was under the impression that HybridVPN was coming in that next update. I need that feature. Hasn't been a problem, as I figured I could just connect those devices through VPN using my old, el-cheapo ASUS router that DOES have this capability "temporarily". As my network setup was working that way, never gave it much thought afterwards.
But now, the ASUS router is having problems. So figured I'd just update the XR1000 now and be done with it. "No updates available".
I come here, to see we're almost a YEAR after that, and we're still waiting for a !BETA! firmware to become available, that was offered 4 MONTHS ago, and it's STILL not available? And that additionally, it's communicated that after this update (whenever and IF it comes), the XR1000 will no longer be suported?
So apparently, I need to BUY another secondary router that offers VPN capability, because my main router after on eyear, still can't do it. Lucky enough, I can get a used one off ebay for like $25. Imagine that... spending $25 for a router with more, basic routing capaiblities than my $200 router...
This is no longer a joke, this is a scam. As a customer, I should not care whether its Netduma or Netgear at fault... all I should care about is that this $200 router was released, and simply not receiving any further support. You cannot honestly tell me that Netgear is 4 months unresponsive on testing a beta build, and that you do not have a direct contact, or an escalation point within Netgear.

I might as well just sell this thing and along those $25 I would need to spend regardless, buy an equivalent router that is actually supported.

Go to the QoS page, click the  icon top left of the Congestion Control panel and you can do so from there
