I don't have any issues on 4.0.290 but I would like to give the new build a test if possible.
-
I had similar behaviour using my gateway's DMZ/ADMZ on Bell Fibre BUT this issue isn't related to the R3, it happens with all routers. You don't have the R3 in DMZ or ADMZ by chance, do you?
-
I have also noticed this on my Xbox Series X but not my PS5.

The Bell Home/GigaHubs are a mess. Their advanced DMZ aren't very reliable. What I did was just PPPOE to a custom PC running DD-WRT, then connected to that I have my R3 in DMZ. You could also just PPPOE to the R3 but if you have speeds over 500-600mbps you likely won't hit them based on the overhead required for PPPOE.

What's has a "fix" on the "NEW" firmware ?

Just curious, what issues are being worked on? I've been on v4.0.40 and haven't noticed any issues. š¤·āāļø -
Wish there was stronger hardware

I would pay the cost of the R3 or even an annual subscription to be able to install DumOS on my own intel hardware. -
Fixed CPU usage spike issue coming next week.
MikeWilde replied to Netduma Cameron's topic in News & Announcements
I've noticed 100% on CPU0 or CPU2 with next to nothing going on. This seems pretty much consistent. Not sure if this is related or being cause by PPPoE. -
R3 not reaching Full Fibre 900 speeds (Zen - City Fibre)
MikeWilde replied to He4DHuNt3r_XIM's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I also use the R3 with PPPoE and I'm getting about what you're getting. I think it's due to the overhead. If I connect the R3 to my gateway in DMZ I get the max speed of the Lan port. -
Does anybody know when the new firmware is suppose to drop?
MikeWilde replied to Zepplike's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I'm also able to make changes to the radius and ping assist and it seems to work immediately. No restarting the game or waiting. That said, I'm playing UFC 5 and it's a peer to peer. Not sure if that plays a factor. -

Yeah, I stay in my defined radius unless the ping is 50 or under, then I allow it to connect outside of my set radius. -

Iām on .20 and geofilter works. Iām just wondering how everyone seems to be on different firmwares? I was on .16 when my R3 arrived and the pushed update was .20 -
100% you buy it for the software. When gaming specific features appeal to you, the idea of using it with wifi doesn't make any sense to me personally. Access points do the trick just fine. š¤

As someone with an ISP that forces a gateway without a bridge mode. I can confirm, I always have to restart the gateway after adding a new device to DMZ.

I'm almost certain EA is using some sort of trickery on their end when it comes to matching based on connections. I routinely play their UFC games and in quick match I get nothing but pristine lag free matches. Then in ranked mode I more often than not get matched with laggy turds (despite having an acceptable ping). I assume it's related to some sorta skill matching nonsense. They prioritize skill vs connection quality.

I have the XR1000 and have never had any issues with devices not showing proper online status. That said, my devices all have reserved addresses. š¤ -
ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
MikeWilde replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
I'm willing to bet that was a very contentious situation. Two different dev teams from two different companies with very different agendas and business philosophies.
