  1. i'm on .21 Can you send me .23 ?
  2. 1. Why the same server may appear twice in my allow list but with different alphanumeric characters? 2. How can I access my providers modem which is behind my R3 ? 3. Is Ping Assist functioning as it should or we are waiting for a fix an if it does , do I have to factor in the steady ping extra value when I set it?
  3. Thanks for your reply and support. It's 60 in Geofilter and 70-75 in-game reading. I mean 15ms more than R1 is no big deal but I'm curious how R1's Ping Assist managed to keep me below 50 almost every time. Every device is on R3 and my provider's modem is bridged. PPPoE on R3.
  4. First off, I can't get Ping Assist to work. Am I missing something? As stated in the title I skipped R2 and all XRs so I can't tell if there was a problem with PA in these models. Before R3 I used to play MWIII with R1 and PA 48 (my base ping approx.) and I must admit it was a very good experience . My in game reading was about 45-55 ms. Games were smooth and consistent. It's not the same with R3. My ping is now 60 to 70 ms (with steady ping OFF) and all I'm trying to do is to stick to my nearest server (Milan) with the Geofilter. If there is a workaround to make PA as solid as it was back in R1 please share....
  5. Does R3 support *.ovpn files for manual vpn configuration?
  6. All in-game ping readings show at least 30 to 40% lower values for the last couple of months or so. I don’t know why. My base ping is 70-80 ms and there is nothing I can do to lower it. Now it shows 40-50 ms in every single game. I was about to start a thread here, asking if there’s a new dedicated server in my region since I don’t use Netduma any more to see for myself.
  7. It's almost a month or so that this "glitch" is still an issue. I am not a conspiracy theorist but it feels like it's here to stay on purpose.
  8. Interconnecting your performance with network issues is generally a bad idea. To be honest I used to do it all the time, but I've learned to avoid it. Not to mention that ping is not king anymore. In your video I see a common COD scenario.
  9. when I get killed I always watch the Killcam, I see someone standing and I go : "WTF ? How did I die to this moron?" ,only to find out it's me standing.
  10. still can't get my head around how a fragmented package is more beneficial. It's like ordering two pizzas and having them delivered one at a time.
  11. could you elaborate please?
  12. This is my base ping exactly . Plugging my XBOX to my ISP router straight , this is what I get. 60 to 70 (Athens, Greece). Constantly. No geofilter , no QoS, no nothing. If you ask me, it feels OK. The only thing I have in mind while jumping into a game is Jackfrag's advices. I don't rush, I peek corners, and I use one or two attachments on my weapons. For the first time in a long time, auto tactical sprint is set to off and I don't look back (regarding MW2). This is how you play the game if you want to have some fun.
  13. Low ping advantage is clearly a thing of the past. Please let me share my thoughts despite my poor English. Imagine being in charge of COD multiplayer trying to develop a game for literally everyone. From the hardcore - old school gamer to the casual gamer. What would you put? Loud footsteps, insanely low TTK, safe places, SBMM, easy challenges, etc....What makes you thing connection quality is out of the equation? Probably nothing. If a 20ms ping gamer could dominate every lobby, the game (and the cash flow) would collapse within a few months. I gave up, long time ago, trying to manipulate my connection. I have my XBOX plugged in my mediocre router and I play the game. Some times I do well and I have fun, some times my @ss is kicked hard. I can live with that.
  14. Do not bother OP. Trust me. Trying to manipulate your connection is a waste of time and hard earned money. Turn off Crossplay if you are on console and put hours in the game you are interested in to get better. You will have good games and bad games. That's it.
  15. I'd say M27Q
  16. It will never cease to amaze me how people think that manipulating their connection will make things better in this game.
  17. I'll try to explain my gaming experience with my limited English vocabulary... With DUMA OS I feel tense and I find myself gripping my controler harder than usual, getting ready for the imminent gunfight which I'm almost certain I'm about to lose. On the other hand with OpenWRT the game feels like it "flows" better and I can obtain a momentum easier. I'm not saying I'm kicking ass with OpenWRT as I am a mediocre player. But at least I have a good feeling at the end that I did the best I could. I'm afraid I can't explain it better.....
  18. i wish there was a caddy firewall script for Linux OS. OpenWRT/cake plays better with MW
  19. Killcam is unreliable. It's more ore less like spectating camera in Headquarters when you're dead. How many times I've said "why the hell he is not shooting? He is right in front of him"... but I'm convinced this is not the case.
  20. Is "Duma Os Classified game" available in R1?
  21. I mean if it's better to choose "never" when using the script
  22. Thanks man. Do you have QoS disabled while this script is running?
  23. I can't see the port. Just the server. Is it only me?
  24. I doubt this is due to connection. You are a great player, and you moved well. You also went for the kills rather than the objectives (2 captures). Overall it was a great game..
