Yeah it will prioritize just the same

I would put the speeds you're actually receiving from the modem

We usually suggest starting at 70% and then adjusting from there based on your experience

No the other way around would be better, use Congestion Control, don't use Bandwidth Allocation. Utilize Traffic Prioritization as well - DumaOS Classified Games should be prioritizing already.

If you put the R2 WAN IP (found on the System Information page) into the DMZ on the ISP modem/router then you won't.

You can use DumaOS Classified Games, CoD or Games Console. If you're on Early Access Gaming or CoD should work best.

Holz reacted to Netduma Lew in NEW R2 FIRMWARE: 3.3.280
Hey everyone!
We’re excited to provide you with the latest firmware for the R2 – DumaOS 3.3.
While it doesn’t bring immediately ‘obvious’ changes like DumaOS for Mobile, DumaOS 3.3 introduces a powerful new addition – our new AutoDPI. This is a big moment for DumaOS, and it means we’ll be supporting new games and applications faster than ever without needing to wait for a firmware update.
For details on what AutoDPI is and how it’s going to make things better, check out our video on it below:
DumaOS 3.3 also comes with a plethora of bug fixes as well as plenty of stability and usability improvements.
After extensive testing, we’re confident that DumaOS 3.3 puts the R2 is in a really good place: we hope you enjoy it.

Changelog
Wider range of games and applications supported by DumaOS (and more to come!). Hybrid VPN no longer experiences issues when switching between Wireguard and OpenVPN. DNS settings for Hybrid VPN are now retained after reboot. Fixed an issue where replacing a faulty config file for Hybrid VPN would cause functionality issues. OpenVPN logs are no longer deleted when the VPN is disabled. Various other fixes to Hybrid VPN functionality and stability. IPv6 traffic is now always categorised by QoS, allowing QoS to interact with it more reliably. Ping Heatmap no longer crashes if pinging an empty server group. Improvements to overall DumaOS stability, reducing cases where users see random reboots or disconnections. Numerous security improvements.

Just what you would do normally, utilize the Geo-Filter, QoS isn't as needed as you have a dedicated line but you can still experiment with it

It quite easy to get dpi wofking just requires a few steps
I just signed up to the early acsess last night and was acepted straigh away
Then i downloaded the newest fw 3.3 i think its called
After i upgraded fw i factory reset roter
Then i first resynddd cloud on geo filter then resyced cloud on heatmap then resynced cloud on device mager
If you get the errror message about its taking time just leave it sit for 2 mins so it still downloads dpi cloud update
After you do that reboot router and console
Start the game up and t now click network monitor it should show you your console mine shows ps5 then click on the traffic it should show gaming in next window the category breakdown windo then click that it should open 3rd window showing the game your playing mine show cod mw2 on
Your done enjoy new update

Deep Packet Inspection, basically it analyzes the packets and can determine right now MW2 is being played, based on the settings done on the router I will prioritize all these packets and nothing else. So instead of using ports to prioritize for example which can be problematic if there is other applications/services using the same packets on the device e.g. you're playing a game on PC and downloading a torrent it only prioritizes the game/service and nothing else. We've always used DPI but it's a lot better now.

Holz reacted to Netduma Liam in How to fix bad bufferbloat
We've got a new update for DPI out that's trying to help with this. Update to the latest firmware, then factory reset your R2. Atfter 5 minutes, complete the setup wizard again and setup QoS/Geo-filter/All your other setup how you like it.
You can then go to Device Manager -> Click the sub-menu in the top left of the map -> Hit Resync cloud and things should be feeling better.

Try to force some servers slightly further away, some find that it gives them a better feeling in game even though the ping might be a little higher
