This is my setup. ONT (full Fiber) > XR1000 > XR500 and 2x EX7700. XR1000 (Mina router) Lan Port 1 > XR500 - AP mode (Main WIFI and Guest WIFI) Lan Port 2 > EX7700 (1) - AP (Main WIFI) Lan Port 3 > EX7700 (2) - AP (Guest WIFI (not in use at the moment)) XR500 Lan Port 1 > PS5 Lan Port 2 > TV Lan Port 3 > SonoS Beam (speaker) EX7700 (1) Lan Port > Son's PS5 EX700 (2) (Not in use only use to extend Guest WIFI) Lan Port > Nothng Connected. The issue with this set up in this Tree formate it shows devices offline or on the LAN even tho they are online connected wirelessly to XR500 or EX7700,

nothing showing or saying "internet rules" and this is what it used to say in the last IOS App update and it was under settings. now it is no longer there. I am running the XR1000 on the latest software.

IOS App missing Traffic controller options. so i can no longer see the rules i have set up and turn them on or off. this was a good way to kill my sons internet if needed by using the app and not need to open a laptop or trying to do it on phone browser.

how do you have so much free ram. i am lucky to get 5-8% free most the time is is -1.5%, and it always been like this inc a reformat and reboot/restart.

they prob waiting till around aug when he last big update hit and be like another year a new ver. but for testing only then make it live the year after to make it look like the xr1000 is still getting support.

any News about BETA?? its been what 6 months now sins you where about to release it.

still no news on this. it felt like we waited a year for the last update. wonder if this one will take the same time. lol Yes i know u can't give ETA. but this is not giving a good light on Netgear. this type of stuff with them has put me off there products. attest netduma helps you.

app working for me. sadly would of been nice if you could customise the home screen. so you can see the bits u want on the screen right away.

this shows my Sonos. the only thing that show getting blocked is "msmetrics.ws.sonos.com" yes then they not in use it still send transmit data very low. i would say make sure you system in network sonos is being pick up as sonos. as i had issue where IP addresses where getting assign to another device and this was showing in adblocker as being sonos but when looking in to it it would show samsung domains or apple domains. i then just assigned static ip addresses to all my main devices and done a reboot and this fixed much of the issues. I would say in adblocker about half of my traffic get blocked. i also use NextDNS that also is used to block adds. i also run other add blocking lists tho. not just the default one.

Would something like "UBIQUITI ER-X Networks EdgeRouter X 5 Ports Gigabit LAN/WAN Router, Black" work (not don't a lot of research in to this device just would look much nice in my set up then having a bit Router next to main router (XR1000)

the question becomes i am not sure what the device is that was connected to it. is there a way to find this out? do you have any recommendations on a Device to handle the PPPoE?

when doing my test i did disabled QoS, removed my DNS setting, Disabled adblocker(even tho QoS done this for me) i even reset QoS before disabling it. i am going to reformat the XR1000 and start with a clean install from start to end. as one off the QoS is not loading as says

i have to say i noticed this also. my XR1000 shows speeds of like 900MB where the XR500(beta ver) shows speeds of 300-400mb. both routers where plugged in the same way and on the on the same cables(cat8). I am doing testing as i just upgraded to a 1GB Full fibres (on 5/02/24) where i was on 150MB Copper from cabnet. It does seem when i run the ping on the XR500 the CPU (1and2) Maxes out when running. but when doing a speed test out side (fast.com or google speed test) the CPU does not MAX out and give higher reading. I cannot get a Speed Test out side the router over 650MB but the router speed test shows all the time 900+MB(XR1000) 300-400MB (XR500) now the company i have gone with has some very bad reviews (OpenStream) but i thought i would bite the built as all the Full Fiber was installed all around my area within the last 6-8 months. now they did not supply me with a router as you can save money by using your own router and only info they gave was "Username and password" no info like Internet Service Provider - i picked PPPoE No Connection Mode - I picked "always on" Idel timeout(done think this one matter) do left at 5 no info about "VLAN / Bridge Settings" if this was needed or not. now this company looks to be using the Vodafone infrastuture as the UserID i was given has Vodafone.net in it. no mater what i do at the moment i am lucky to say get 1 download to get over 300MB if i run 3-4 downloads i may get close to 600-700mb. have tired different sources, Microsoft, and some large file test download sites, to note I have tuned off everything when doing these test e.g QoS and even my DNS settings (NextDns) My setup is a bit strange tho. all cable in the wall are cat7, connections are cat8 and cable outside the walls are cat8. BT ONT > My XR1000 (main router) connect with cable to XR500 (AP) and 1x EX7700(AP) and 1x EX7700 (AP) wireless. XR500 connect to PS5, TV and Sonos with cables, EX7700 (on Cable) connect to PS4 with cable. XR1000 and XR500 Give WIFI and Guest WIFI Cable EX700 Give WIFI Wireless EX7700 Give Guest WIFI
