Well, I have the same feeling with @Derlandes... 
"We have been here" since day1 , have had xr500 and xr1000 - how do you expect new customers to buy into your product giving all these problems ...?
Really, not sure who is owning you guys or leading you --- but this is by far the worse experience and support for a product. A product that can be fantastic is the biggest disappointment.

Ok i managed to make it work, have adjusted the steps below for anyone else who wants to use it:

 
Shutdown your Console / PC / Device you want to use for Geo Filter Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC (PlayStation Device) Type in the Device Manager (if on PC), if on Console keep as it is allocated (e.g.Playstation ) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Reboot the router Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client

thanks for the info - that would be very good if we can check for best ping and restrict the game to always connect there for the best connection.

Ping Heatmap pings a list of IP addresses from the game that we feed it, this means it can be out of date sometimes, whereas the Geo-Filter shows active connections. It is also possible that servers could be mislocated on one or the other, showing a higher than expected ping. 
They're separate features but we have plans to more closely link them together.

YouTube ads/ads that play before/during videos won't be blocked as that is a lot more complex, you should however notice ads on normal websites have their ads blocked

The XR1000 doesn't currently have HybridVPN but it is something we're working on so in the meantime you would have to apply it the old fashioned way, on the device itself if it is supported

When that happens i cannot connect to either of the routers...
 
But I have managed to fix it - have just changed on XR side from "Get Dynamically from ISP" , to "Use Static IP Address" as well for DNS "Use These DNS Servers" - and so far , i have not had any issues. Will monitor and reach back if I get the same problem !

Probably because network settings were altered above the XR it needed to update everything, a reboot would have achieved the same affect

So far so good! I went from 300Mbps to 980 Mbps ....it is a good change!

What the make and model of your ISP router exactly? We can look it up and use that to find the best solution for you.
To get things working, you don't necessarily need to use bridge mode or IP passthrough, but in some scenarios you may encounter NAT issues, that's when we would look to solutions like this.

You can just copy the WAN IP from the XR System Information page and put it in the Sagemcom DMZ and that will resolve the NAT issues

Thanks for that, I don't think you'll be able to do that due to the prevention we included for denying. I'd suggest forcing servers in different locations, even if the ping is slightly higher it may be more stable and allow you to play against different players opposed to those that you might match up with frequently.

Just so we can understand your use case, is there a reason you're allowing a specific area and then blocking the server that is allowed there?
I suspect because you've already made the connection to the server it's either forcing you onto a different server (misclassified as a peer) or doing P2P in an effort to keep the game alive. I don't think you will get an instantaneous block on peers as we prevented that to ensure people couldn't use the feature to cheat.
