Xdrqgol Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 So , if you try Ping Heatmap for FIFA 23, you get a bunch of servers around your location. If you use Geo Filter, and boot the game - you get different servers and most important the "ms" shown in Ping Heatmap doesn't match at all...like HUGE difference. Q1 - Why is this happening - should they work similar? Q2 - Why can't I use the server found from Ping Heatmap and save it for the Geo Filter as the one I want to connect to because ti shows the best ping? @Netduma Fraser
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 14, 2023 Administrators Posted August 14, 2023 Ping Heatmap pings a list of IP addresses from the game that we feed it, this means it can be out of date sometimes, whereas the Geo-Filter shows active connections. It is also possible that servers could be mislocated on one or the other, showing a higher than expected ping. They're separate features but we have plans to more closely link them together.
Xdrqgol Posted August 14, 2023 Author Posted August 14, 2023 thanks for the info - that would be very good if we can check for best ping and restrict the game to always connect there for the best connection. would be really a good addition
