darth_revan45 started following R3 Firmware and Bo6 question

Good question. I have call of duty series set as top priority. I did prioritize call of duty content, but then turned it off. It shows it as downloading with no issues. An official answer on this will definitely be appreciated though.

I had the same issue. Thankfully when I updated to the latest beta firmware it fixed it for me. Hit registration seems to be on point again. The weird thing is I ran the previous firmware for a couple of months I'd have to say with no problems until late.

Try expanding to more nearby servers and see if that helps. Call of duty just had a big double xp event and the launch of a new season, so there are a lot of people playing right now and that server may be bogged down.

I play on PC also and find games pretty quickly. How many servers are in your geo filter? I ask because I've seen some people with issues but they have only a couple servers in their filter.

Did you restart your modem/router that the R3 is attached to? When making changes like disabling ipv6 you should reboot everything including your gaming device. I normally let them sit a couple of minutes to clear it out.

I bought the R3 at launch and have had almost no issues. The only thing right now, is that my nat type doesn't show as open. Which is a non issue because I get into matches fast and connect to all of my friends without fail. Now I'm not saying that some people aren't having real issues, but I do urge people to look at certain things. What is your R3 connected to, if what it is connected to has routing capabilities then you need to put the R3 in the dmz of said modem/router or put it in bridge mode. Although I urge anyone serious enough to buy a gaming router to also buy their own modem that is both supported by their ISP and supports the speed you are paying for. Ideally you want one thing doing the routing (R3) and a modem without routing capabilities. I also have a weird fix that worked for me with my xr500 restarting every few hours. I changed the time zone to where I live, by default it was on something else. I did that for my xr500 and now my R3 and have never had that issue again. Make sure the other device matches that time zone as well.

Ive had the same issue with having a moderate nat after moving over to duma os 4. I mentioned this in a previous post that on the xr500 I could click nat filtering and putting that to open instead of secured which that would give me an open nat type. Frazier are you guys talking about that as an option still? Also in the network settings on mw3 it doesn't show the bandwidth either idk if that would be helpful info, prior to the R3 it had showed it. Also it's moderate with the geo filter off as well.

He was saying what I had said in my last response. You need to make the ISP given modem/router not handle routing. Your either going to put it in bridge mode or some units say modem mode. You aren't doing anything against policy or preventing the ISP from anything. You could also put the R3 in the dmz of said device.
