    I meant like 2½ years ago the XR700 shouldn't have been stayed stuck on the 1.0.1.34 beta fw, it's taking 2½ years to get a new firmware out for the XR700 let's just process that Of course it should be now on par with the other 3.2 routers. I know that u are as always trying to help and do the best for the community. But this need to be said the Netduma team cannot just forget about a product that they support (XR700) and leave it on such old DumaOs version. It should get a update for DumaOs at least twice a year.

    I think its really time to get some new firmware out for the XR700 it's taking so long, way too long now this router should have been updated to DumaOs 3.0 so long ago, the 1.0.1.34 beta firmware is 2½ years old. Just bring the firmware out bring it out as a beta let it get tested through the community and the minor bugs get worked on after. But dont let us wait any longer thats the worst case.

    I do it quite often as well, just delete the game before u go to bed and download it. When u wake up or back from work it is fully downloaded even if u have slow internet speeds.

    Okay nice, hope the bugs get resolved quick so we get a new firmware finally, hopefully won't take too long. But SmartQoS will come later to the XR700 as well ? Btw do you know if the PPPoE/QoS upload issue is fixed in this new version ? Thanks Fraser

    No problem, is it possible to send us the apk file so we can install from here for Android ? Then we dont need to wait for Google 😄 or i might forget to update it even.

    @Netduma Liam Thank you very much, I think its more important if the locations in Geo-filter gets redone/set in the right locations on the map because those are what we using for blocking servers. Cheers

    @Netduma Fraser Started using Geo-filter again but I cant find no servers for CoD MWII in the Netherlands (rarely one pop up) Could u please relocate the Dutch servers for CoD back in the Netherlands I found a few pop up in the French Paris cluster, sometimes a few in Poland, sometimes in UK London cluster and even sometimes in Germany. Because there is quite a lot Dutch servers that CoD is using and they make a difference for me, but not if they mixed in a cluster 500 miles away or even further away. Btw in ping heatmap it shows me 1 server in the Netherlands could u als try to put the dots/signs for Dutch servers a little bit higher/centre of the country so when drawing a Polygon line it doesnt interfere with the surrounding servers from other countries. Like here in the added picture 1 Dutch server is showing as a UK server In the UK and the one in the right location as Unknown-7 there were a few more unknown that started with same ip adress in the list on the right but they couldn't give a ping (-1000ms or N/A it states) Cheers

    I really hope so been waiting for it, have no bugs with the R2 really. Need something new to test, XR700 is just sitting in the corner 😄

    @Ableit is totally normal there is nothing unfair about getting better hardware, it is unfair the weird things that are happening in the game when u have a better connection that u get punished and so on. I should have the advantage over people if my ping is lower (more stable) then my opponent that's how things work or should, not adding artificial lag (lag comp) that brings all kind of weird bullshit scenario's in the game. It's like someone playing on a regular tv with 160ms input lag vs someone on a gaming monitor with 15ms input lag u have advantage obviously with the gaming monitor that's why u buy it. That's how life works.

    @MainLifelinethere is definitely more then ping only lag comp definitely a huge factor that u have fiddle around with to work in ur favour and had many times that it will work for a few days or weeks and then be all off again the connection. What works for me then most of the time is to turn the router off for 10-15 minutes with no power connected and after rebooted leave it for a 10 minutes to initialise and all. Then dial down the dl/ul speeds to 500kb/1mbps for your console (with Share Excess OFF DL/UL) and start CoD play a few games even if u lag sometimes then restart application (CoD) for a few times with these very low bandwith settings for your console.

    @MainLifelineu welcome I am pretty sure 99.99% that there are no other ports then between 29000-45000 destination ports being used for CoD in public, private/custom match, WZ, Crossplay on/off been watching this since 2020 with PS5 and PS4. Source ports always 3074-3074 btw. I've been also playing a lot of Custom matches in the past few years especially SnD competitive EU. Give it a try the SP 3074-3074 DP 29000-45000 UDP also in Custom/private match u wont regret it.

    It will give dedicated bandwith to all your devices, basically dividing your bandwidth between all your devices that are online in Device manager. Got very good results with it, basically from what I've seen when u are playing on a PS5 CoD and in a chatparty the traffic doesnt exceed more then 2Mbps dl/ul. When u see there is a update that u have to download u turn share excess on, download the update and after its downloaded u turn share excess off again. Try to keep the distrubition even for all the devices in Qos page (press reset distrubition and then update distrubition, for DL and UL) I think u will achieve this easily with a 1K/1K connection.

    Try ports 3074-3074 to 29000-45000 UDP, Normal default for wired connection. Try bandwith share excess off (both dl/ul) especially if u have enough bandwith available.

    Thats good to hear that it did good, hopefully Netgear won't let u guys wait too long. If there is a early tester for XR700 firmware u can include me if possible. Keep us posted and good luck for the new year

    Hi guys wish u all a happy and healthy New Year. Where do we stand like with the fw updates for the XR700 ? Because we getting told everytime after the XR500 but we (XR700 users) are waiting literally for over 2 years since a DumaOs update. U guys need to fix this 3.3 firmware update for the XR700 it is not possible to take 2 years+ for a DumaOs migration of software to the XR700. Get us some info and where do we stand for all the XR700 owners out there, we need to get some clear water because been in dark waters for the past 2 years.

    I thought it would be the XR700 next in line as the one waiting the longest for updates. Hope u guys fix a update for XR700 been waiting for years for fw ever since fw 1.0.1.36 from 12-2020 there hasnt been a update in 2 years
