So the beta .120 for XR500 it’s good? Should I try? Generally with the connect devices works ok or the shows connected devices offline??

Just to be sure... the anti-bufferbloat is always on or when high priority detected? If it is when high priority detected you should run a game and confirm that the red dot 🔴 is on. If you change the sliders and the red dot 🔴 is off then there is no effect.

Don’t be tiered.... I am waiting one month to get it for XR 500 since they add me for R1 and I don’t have this router... it seems the only way to get the DumaOS 3.0 it’s to buy the R2... i am really disappointed 😔...

One question... can I connect through PPPoE with the R2?? Now my setup is xr500 connected on ISP router and on xr500 I set it to connect through PPPoE.

Yeah but I am not really sure that moment which is the best... to get directly the new updates and very quick or keep the more powerful router? Because at the end if there is a bug you want to solve it ASAP and the Netgear is not very famous for quick updates... Also I am start thinking that maybe is the start for NetDuma to stop the cooperation with Netgear...

I really don’t know what I should do... keep the XR500 or sell it and buy the R2...?? To have 2 routers make no sense to me... I will use only one...

This the big question also for me... I use netgear products almost 20 years now... and I can say that is very solid products! My first router is still working!! But they have very very very slow release to fix problems with firmware updates... on the other hand we have Duma! This the reason I bought the XR500. For the software! Now with the R2 they have the opportunity to have a stable machine (imagine Netgear give some advise how to built the hardware) and the freedom to push firmware upgrades quickly!! I really start to think 🤔 to sell my XR500 and purchase the R2.

That means that 6th August it will be release the dumaos 3.0 on the XR routers?? Or you send it with the beta??

Almost 2 weeks now and I am stuck with the R1 invitation... Please please please do something to change that and get for the XR500 that I have!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!

Since I am stuck with the R1 beta router and I i am still waiting to change that to go for the XR 500 I will notify on this forum or from the netgear forum? Here I am still get the green bar for the R1....

Ok @Netduma Fraser!! Can you please check my issue? I have selected for the beta for the R1 but I have the XR 500... I have send me username on netgear account forum to Alex to change me and put on the XR500 beta...

😂😂😂 if someone from the admins can verify that it work it’s ok from me to send to you the file to install it!! But probably you will not have access on the forum for the beta and you will not have any other update... since the release news updates continually to correct bugs...

Hi my friend! The rules above are for traffic priority that you must put them on QoS. I don't know if you can do it on the R1 router. Try on the Rule2 you send outgoing ports start 3074 end 3076. On the rule1 outgoing ports start 30000 end 45000. But 3074-3076 I thing that is ports that use Xbox and PS4. If you play from PC maybe is different...
