Demi reacted to Netduma Fraser in R3 how to get a better latency score on waveform?
Currently yes it's limited at 50% - we'll likely remove this cap in a future update

It cannot go below 50% currently, I will see if the team can change it for one of the next versions

I have found some workaround for smart boost not tracking packets correctly.

If your network is not too congested. Just unstar all those activity, including your gaming activity.
now you will see blank table
now if you check at ‘stats for nerd’ menu on the too right (little three dots), you should see the table. In generally, if everything is right, cod packet should be under either ‘manual prioritization’ or ‘auto allocation’  But problem is sometimes smartqos is buggy so you will need to manual do it as following
    1. unstar all default activities. Make queue blank
    2. Normally add your ports by hitting ‘add reservation’ it is inside manage profile button.

    3. pick your console/ targeted device Hit next
    4. switch to ports tab
    5. manually enter source ports and destination ports. If you dont know, just put 1-65535 in both
6 give it 20mbps reservation and click Finish.

    all done

Demi reacted to kryptik66 in My Netduma R3 MW III Settings
    Hi all,
I just wanted to post to say I got the Netduma R3 last week and I was still struggling with the hit registration of shots in MWIII as of yesterday.
I saw a post today by @Spritekid242and since I've changed settings a bit it's a night and day difference so big thanks to him.
I've never used a Netduma router so I am no expert but this seems to work for me.
    My current setup
Geo filter simple instead of custom. For whatever reason the geofenced points didn't seem to work as well for me.
I play on Xbox so I added that in as a device
    Steady ping on simple mode
    Geo assist on
    Ping assist off
    Strict mode on
    Fast search off
    Smart boost
Gaming top priority and device Xbox top priority also

This is the part that I believe made the biggest difference as suggested on the post by Spritekid242. I'm not sure if it is the bandwidth reservation or the congestion control but these are the two settings I changed today.
Bandwidth reservation on smart boost set to max 20mbps upload and download for all ports TCP / UDP for Xbox only

This part will be depend on your connection, I recommend to manually set these as when it found the down / up manually it was at like 98% down and 99% and wasn't stable on a bufferbloat test

To find the manual numbers I just
Set congestion control mode to always on and deselected speed test bypass.
Then adjust the sliders down around 5% at a time until you get 0ms on download active and upload active latency on the waveform.com bufferbloat test. I was actively watching these to see if they actually raised above 0ms on the test. One thing I noticed is that I would still get an A+ on the waveform bufferbloat test even if it fluctuated and went back to 0ms. I think it's better for it to never go above 0ms.
You will also see the max latency ms figures go lower as you bring the percentage down. You will get to a point where is stays at 0ms and the max latency won't get any lower. I did download first. Then I moved on to upload and I settled at 70% down 75% up and turned the speed test bypass back on and set it back to auto from always on.

Ad blocker on although shouldn't make a difference
    DumaOS 4.0.23
Im hoping the automatic congestion control figures will improve in a later firmware so there isn't as much trial and error but all in all the router is a huge improvement from my ISP provided router so far, definitely. Hopefully someone from Netduma can chime in on the Bandwidth reservation, maybe it could be laid out a bit easier for new users to activate if it is in fact a game changer.

Demi reacted to warriorj in GeoFilter is useless on Warzone SBMM
I know GeoFilter does what it's suppose to but the reality is, it is useless in Warzone Call of Duty now that they manipulate who gets in what lobby with their SBMM garbage.
I'm not blaming NetDuma but it needs to be said so we can work towards other solutions to enter lobbies in our location, if at the very least, start a petition, form a gamers union, something.
We need people with some pull to speak on our behalf and make them listen. They're basically taking our money with broken promises & bogus "SBMM."
It can never be legitimate "Skill based match making," unless everyone's ping is equal, PERIOD! And even then, their patents need to be put under serious criticism until it's open source to see that they aren't truly manipulating our accounts which I'm convinced they are with so many people showing evidence.
And maybe their lack of allowing ping equal lobbies is one of their ways of hiding their account manipulation. That I can't prove. but the fact remains SBMM prevents us from pin pointing the entire problem at hand. Plenty of good gamers on youtube now exposing this corrupt company and it's just sad there really isn't a better game for FPS at the moment IMO. (Waiting patiently)
I live in Washington State and I can't even remember the last time I got a lobby in my State let alone West coast. The Ping map even shows how disrespectful this corrupt COD company is towards everyone on the West side.
Multiplayer no problem but Warzone ranked, never, which is all I want to play.
"Playing for fun" without rank is absolutely meaningless to me. I only play ranked or regular warzone so I have to allow geo filter to accept 55--60 ping and only because I finally got Fiber to house internet, am I able to get a 47ms ping room that's located in Midwest to East coast. So 47ms may seem decent for most but they fail to remember that 47ms for me is still 5-20ms for everyone connected nearby. Clearly their SBMM is dictating & blacklisting many of us who aren't their poster children on live streams.
I been with you guys since day 1, purchased the R1 when it was still in Beta, and I appreciate all that you guys have done for the gaming community, so I say this in love...we need better solutions to counter this corrupt company and any other company that pulls this SBMM BS, not to mention their patents that should be criminally charged IMO!
That's my rant. Take care ya'll
