robert27841 reacted to Netduma Fraser in ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Would be no less than another router, you shouldn't encounter a limitation even if you have a lot of devices in your household

robert27841 got a reaction from Pentol in ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Netduma should make a second version a much powerfull with 1 10gbit port and 2.5gbit 6 port wifi6E or wifi 7 like the netgear XR1000 is like the R3 and the XR700 should be like R4 or name it R3 Pro or something I would pay for the huge price increase here in the US internet provider's now provide fiber optic internet 1GB 2GB and 5GB speeds upload and download . I own the Netduma R1 it was ok but then XR500 Was better but I needed more ports I didn't want to buy a network switch and when the XR700 came out it had everything I needed at the time but now Im looking for the next router that has everything I need.I am sure a lot of people would agree to have a second version like a R4 or R3 Pro I know y'all can make it happen we have faith in NetDuma

robert27841 reacted to Anilman92 in ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Im a bit disappointed...
no 10gbit port or at least 2.5gbit port
Better wifi is always good but i dont need it(always wired)
rgb bling bling i dont need it i always turn rgb off.
better hardware inside maybe more power efficient.
but i dont see much improvement compared to r2...

robert27841 reacted to Netduma Lew in NEW R2 FIRMWARE: 3.3.280
Hey everyone!
We’re excited to provide you with the latest firmware for the R2 – DumaOS 3.3.
While it doesn’t bring immediately ‘obvious’ changes like DumaOS for Mobile, DumaOS 3.3 introduces a powerful new addition – our new AutoDPI. This is a big moment for DumaOS, and it means we’ll be supporting new games and applications faster than ever without needing to wait for a firmware update.
For details on what AutoDPI is and how it’s going to make things better, check out our video on it below:
DumaOS 3.3 also comes with a plethora of bug fixes as well as plenty of stability and usability improvements.
After extensive testing, we’re confident that DumaOS 3.3 puts the R2 is in a really good place: we hope you enjoy it.
Download the firmware here:

Changelog
Wider range of games and applications supported by DumaOS (and more to come!). Hybrid VPN no longer experiences issues when switching between Wireguard and OpenVPN. DNS settings for Hybrid VPN are now retained after reboot. Fixed an issue where replacing a faulty config file for Hybrid VPN would cause functionality issues. OpenVPN logs are no longer deleted when the VPN is disabled. Various other fixes to Hybrid VPN functionality and stability. IPv6 traffic is now always categorised by QoS, allowing QoS to interact with it more reliably. Ping Heatmap no longer crashes if pinging an empty server group. Improvements to overall DumaOS stability, reducing cases where users see random reboots or disconnections. Numerous security improvements.

robert27841 reacted to Netduma Fraser in XR700 Beta Update
Hey everyone, it's been a long time coming, I feel your pain, the wait is (basically) over!
So we were planning to put the XR700 out today in Early Access, the mobile view you may have seen on the R2 requires the app to have that working on the 700 rather than a mobile web browser, as of now it's looking as though the app will be approved/go out on the respective app stores on Monday so we're holding off on the grand launch until then as without it you're missing a big part of what has gone into the update.
HOWEVER, I know you guys have been waiting for a long time and so I wanted to at least give you something. So, if you absolutely cannot wait until Monday, please post below and I will PM you the firmware. Do keep in mind you'll be missing the updated mobile view which is a big part of it.
I will like your post when I've sent you a PM with it.

We're receiving another build this week so we'll test that and it will then depend on how well that goes as to what happens, either we can then prep for release or we/NG will need to fix anything that has found

robert27841 reacted to Netduma Fraser in XR700 Beta Update
From what I can see there are just 1 or 2 issues from the latest build we're investigating so it really shouldn't be long at all now

Thanks for the reminder about the page update, I've chased the team to get that sorted!

robert27841 reacted to bebito_fiufiu in XR700 Beta Update
Y he pasado por 4 provedores. Tanto netduma y a la hora de la verdad es como si nada... Le doy lo que queda de mes, si no sale ninguna versión me tendré que despedir de esta comunidad

robert27841 reacted to Netduma Fraser in XR700 Beta Update
There isn't anywhere specific but we will definitely let people know when/if it's available (we might make it public without a beta)

robert27841 reacted to Mobel in XR700 Beta Update
I think its really time to get some new firmware out for the XR700 it's taking so long, way too long now this router should have been updated to DumaOs 3.0 so long ago, the 1.0.1.34 beta firmware is 2½ years old.
Just bring the firmware out bring it out as a beta let it get tested through the community and the minor bugs get worked on after.
But dont let us wait any longer thats the worst case.
-
robert27841 reacted to Netduma Fraser in XR700 Beta Update
I think part of it was that we were working on 3.0 but as other iterations of DumaOS were gaining ground it seemed unfair to have the R2 on 3.3, XR on 3.2 etc and not have the 700 closer to the current advances so rightly or wrongly 3.0 was chosen to be skipped so 3.3 could be ported to it instead. Believe me I'm pushing for all the platforms to get more updates and I do think we're a lot closer to it happening.
-
robert27841 reacted to Mobel in XR700 Beta Update
I meant like 2½ years ago the XR700 shouldn't have been stayed stuck on the 1.0.1.34 beta fw, it's taking 2½ years to get a new firmware out for the XR700 let's just process that
Of course it should be now on par with the other 3.2 routers.
I know that u are as always trying to help and do the best for the community.
But this need to be said the Netduma team cannot just forget about a product that they support (XR700) and leave it on such old DumaOs version.
It should get a update for DumaOs at least twice a year.

robert27841 got a reaction from bebito_fiufiu in XR700 Beta Update
its been over 2 years now I don't think its coming out because they are only working on the R2 firmware and they will always make some excuse every week for the XR700 for the past 2 years I think its really funny on how fast they can fix the bugs on the R2 but can't do anything for the Netgear XR router every time I contact Netgear by email they say its Netduma end that's not releasing the firmware for the XR and that they will look in to it , so I think Netduma is giving Netgear the run around too giving them the same excuse
hey @Netduma Fraser you can close this page too like all the other pages, anytime I post anything for speaking the truth and catching y'all in your lies
if any one wants to see any of my posts go to my profile to see photos and proof catching them in their lies and closed pages
here's a recent page link that was closed

robert27841 reacted to Netduma Liam in XR700 Beta Update
We just tested a version yesterday, it did pretty well. We've requested a new firmware from NETGEAR with some new patches in it so we're hoping we might receive that back soon. Unfortunately I don't know whether that will be the one we give to testers until we've tested it so I don't have an ETA. It's in the works though!

robert27841 reacted to Netduma Fraser in XR700 Beta Update
Happy New Year!
There isn't much more that I can say really. We are doing a closed beta test of an XR500 firmware and will be opening that up a little, once we're happy with that we can get it released or a version with fixes released then it won't be much longer for the 700. We know it's been awhile and people want it so we're doing our best to get it out.
