  1. Some isps restrict the number of mac addresses to a limited number of devices to be used. i had this issue with my fiber isp as I swap router often between any given 4 different ones. no matter what I did only same 2 routers would work. turns out my isp limits mac address to 2 maximum. called and they said the needed to reset the mac address table. Not saying that is your problem but it could be.
  2. By that I mean I have a bad time if I’m not throttling the connection. I have recently stopped doing it though and it seems ok lately but not optimal and definitely not consistent.
  3. 5 megabits download, half a megabit upload or .5
  4. This was a problem during R2 beta that I had with password field.
  5. Yes the 2 combined but especially the eomm. I can handle sweats if the game is connecting right but I swear they will nerf you mid game if you're destroying folks.
  6. I am tending to agree as it was good after that change for a while but immediately went back to crap after several good matches.
  7. Just a simple heads up and I know it sounds dumb but it’s true. I bought a Ps5 slim bundle so ended up with mw3 on xbox and ps. If you disable cross play on ps5 to avoid the pc sweats you will probably face long matchmaking times on the other platforms. I flip flop between both consoles on mw3 as it has cross save as well and after disabling cross play I faced this issue. I didn’t put 2 and 2 together at the time but noticed I had been getting way long matchmaking times recently on xbox. Upon researching and finding a video explaining it I enabled cross play and it fixed matchmaking times back to very short wait times on xbox. Probably rare that someone swaps between consoles but maybe this can help someone if they experience this. Has to be a bug but looks like it dates back to modern warfare 2019.
  8. I did it in smartqos and didn’t have issues with packet loss. On gig fiber though so maybe that’s it. Anyway it’s not as consistent as I’d like but will be tinkering more with it. This was with R2 behind a XR500 but presently I’m back to my isp gateway which is a calyx and will be adding the R2 behind it to experiment until my R3 arrives.
  9. I should have clarified. The R2?
  10. Which router?
  11. Got one pre-ordered! Exciting times for sure!
  12. Ok thanks. I will message you when I’m back Set up to try this again.
  13. Would it be ok to pm you about more advice pertaining to this? Worked splendid with my XR500 but now I have a XR1000 v1 that's giving me issues. I'd rather not clutter up the thread.
  14. 5 down, .5 up. It’s unplayable otherwise and even this isn’t consistent. Of course you have sbmm screwing everybody over on top of that.
  15. Maybe I missed it but did you factory reset after you were done? Thanks.
  16. I am thinking you are right. I did search and read multiple pages of threads but didn’t get a definitive answer.
  17. Upnp don’t help with cod. I’ve already tried google for official ports and it’s not popping in caddy unfortunately so wondering about alternates.
  18. I’m on the XR500 again for now. Caddy not wanting to work anymore it seems. I will be trying the R2 again soon.
  19. and if so which ports? I’m not having any luck. Does it still work with Dumaos? Thanks.
  20. Thank you!
  21. Do you have a download back up for it?
  22. Thank you!
  23. @RedBull2k do you plan to change download site of caddy to something besides google so it's not getting flagged as it's not working currently? I'm on a new pc and was wanting to download again. Thanks.
  24. Nothing will change with cod so long as people keep throwing money at them. About done with it. At least battlefield works because laggy asses get put on server side hit detection if ping over 100.
  25. Caddy is suddenly being picked up as a trojan by windows. Identified as Trojan:Win32/Zpevdo.
