Host Filtering no longer Working?

 Hey everyone,

 

So to first start off, I have been here since early adoption. Had my Duma for quite some time. But, I have not played in MONTHS... (Had a little one and have lost time playing sadly.)  Also, had a different profile on here, and can not figure out my PW so i have to create a new account. GREAT START...

 

Anyway, today I have off and wanted to get to playing again. And now when trying to set up my geofilter the entire host filtering tab does not load at all. Just sits there and has the 5 line loading bar the whole time. Nothing happens. I have rebooted, factory reset and tried everything to get my filter to function again..

 

Also, not an ISP issue, just ran test and it shows that I am still pulling 850d/950u.

 

Has anyone ran into this issue and what is the fix?

This issue was caused a while back by a cloud update. Not to worry, the fix is dead simple! You can find out how to fix this issue here: http://forum.netduma.com/topic/23979-geo-filter-page-not-loading-solution-here/

 

It'll never happen again once you've followed those steps. I hope this helps! Let me know if there's anything else we can help you with.

I don't think you'll have to put the values from that link above in manually as it sounds more like a GUI slowdown. I only needed that fix for a week or so before that issue cleared up. Is every page struggling to load, and are you manually port forwarding while using the geofilter?

Sweet that worked! Had me sweating there for a bit lol!

 

Now one more questions if you all dont mind, I cant remember what I need to play with to adjust my bandwidth... i'm suppose to get 1g up and down. But at the moment when running my speed test it shows im only getting 33mbps down/459 mbps up... I use to be right around 600-700 on both.. anything else I should click to quick fix?

Great stuff! On those speeds I'd recommend these settings:

 

- Reactive Algorithm

- 100% anti-flood

- Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc

- Disable deep packet in misc

- Enable turbo mode

- Enable super turbo mode

- Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds.

- Do a wired speed test from a PC

 

You likely won't be able to max out your speeds when you're on 600-700mbps. The R1 hardware is pretty old, but I wouldn't worry about it - games use
