  1. Were any settings changed/anything with the physical setup changed prior to it happening? Did you disable for WAN/LAN or both? How are you rebooting exactly? Go to Settings > DHCP > Add Rule > Select a device and save, repeat for all your devices. Also in DHCP settings set the lease to 10,000. Make those changes, reboot the router from the interface, close the interface, wait 4 minutes and see if it happens again.
  2. When did it start happening, after doing anything specific? Do you have IPv6 enabled?
  3. I've given you access to Early Access where you can answer the poll https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  4. If they don't require you to use your hub then yes you should be able to. Haha it should be fine but I can't give you a definitive answer on that
  5. When you access the interface via the browser, i.e. entering the LAN IP in the URL bar, after you've added your device to the Geo-Filter and you've gone into a game the server you're in will appear on the right. If you can connect it to that then yes that will be fine. No worries! You can also find some more info at support.netduma.com
  6. Is this for all devices or just specific ones? Can you provide the logs from when it happens please?
  7. Let us know how you get on, to try and make the others work a bit better: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Ensure the router is in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
  8. My vacuum specifically has trouble connecting also, all my other smart devices are fine otherwise on 2.4 or guest 2.4 - the extender method would be the better option but what I do and try it at your own risk is remove the password for the guest WiFi network, for some reason that makes it work. Then to make it slightly more secure you can make it so the guest WiFi doesn't broadcast (i.e. it doesn't show up on WiFi lists for anyone to connect to). This works for me as I don't have many neighbours but may not be an option for you.
  9. That's the plan!
  10. We're not just using codel though and what we're working on will be even better, there are better solutions, we're looking to innovate rather than use what currently exists
  11. We could use a different algorithm and be like other routers but we're attempting to be better than the basic algorithms and I think we are in that sense
  12. Then scroll down a bit and you should see it
  13. To answer your questions: It depends on whether they require you to use their hub with the box or not, if they don't then yes it should be fine to do that as long as you can connect them via ethernet (the R2 is a router only) It's AC WiFi/WiFi 5 so a couple of generations behind now but it should be sufficient, however it all depends on the size of your home, the thickness of walls etc I would recommend not purchasing the R2 though - you won't have any warranty from us, it's older tech, it won't get the latest updates now
  14. Setup a guest 2.4GHz WiFi network, is it able to connect to that instead?
  15. When you're connected to a game/server it will appear on the right side of the screen on the Geo-Filter, if it's bad you can click the X icon to add it to the deny feature. Once you've quit/left that specific game wait 2 minutes for the connection to that specific server to be severed and then you won't connect to it again. Doesn't support SFP - you will need to connect it to an ONT/Modem with an ethernet connection so however you're able to do that will be fine.
