^^

Just purchased one of these. Fantastic monitor....

I liked Photo Picture Mode most because black is black. Not a washed out grey. Do you think Picture Mode is it OK for gaming or should I stick with one of the Gamers presets?

It's all a matter of personal preference,we have a big thread on monitor's and settings on the forum (just not exactly sure where it's at) but lots of people posted their settings on the thread,

Me personally I have 2 that I go between but remember I'm old and hate everyone and everything...

First set...

Picture mode - RTS 1

Brightness - 100

Contrast - 50

Sharpness - 1

Black EQ - 0 or 5 (your choice)

AMA - High

Instant Mode - ON

Overscan - OFF

Display Mode - Full

Dynamic Contrast - 0

HDMI RGBPC Range - 0-255

Smart Focus - OFF

and the second

Picture Mode - Standard

Brightness - 100

Contrast - 50

Sharpness - 5

Color Temp - red 98,green 99,blue 98

Gamma - Gamma 3

AMA - High

Instant Mode - ON

Display Mode - FULL

Smart Focus - OFF

Again this is what I use, best thing to do is find what you like the best and go with that

i think size matter more than super low response time... <30" is ideal. large TVs just take too long to scan the screen. at least for FPS. large TVs are great for party games.
