confusing speedtest results

OK so connection not been brilliant this morning so I ran a few tests.

I pay for up to 30 down and 10 up and get around 25 down and 6 up.

I set my R1 speeds to 24 down and 5 up with congestion control at 70%

I ran 2 tests, one on dsl reports and 1 on BT wholesale testwhich tells me my line maximums are what I pay for up to.

These are the results.

So do I leave my settings as they are or try adjusting them to these new speeds?

I would leave them Bagsta, I just find speed tests vary on different times of the day depending on local usage. The kids are of school so they are probably all on line which will cause local congestion even in Yorkshire :)

cheers Iain, it was just confusing to be getting more than my line is actually supposed to be capable of and that I am paying for.

Im just gonna leave it as is.

Merry Christmas to you and yours and a prosperous new year.

I'd leave them bags. Here's a problem I run into when running the BB test on DSL reports on one I get A+,A+ and D and I don't change a thing run the test again 2 minutes later and get A,A and D,so go figure.

But if you get those readings consistently,I'd leave them as is.
