A7Legit Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I have the one my ISP issued me, Netgear CG3100, it's a basic modem/router which I put in modem only mode. Pings are low, 8-15ms to my local dedicated server in BO3, cannot complain.
dominican_3niz Posted December 14, 2015 Author Posted December 14, 2015 so your Netgear CG3100 is the best for you?
DoZZa Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Depends how your ISP delivers your connection. But for me, being in the UK. I use a DrayTek Vigor 130. Not sure if the technology used to deliver connection to the home is different from UK to US ISP's.
A7Legit Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 so your Netgear CG3100 is the best for you? Works well for me, my games play nicely with the Netduma R1 and my speeds are faster than advertised (by a little bit), so yeah, I'm happy.
UK_Wildcats_Fans Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I have the SB6141 modem, and I get an average ping around 15mS. I had the SBG6580 that uses EEE and had problems because of the EEE, which is why I bought the SB6141.
