im trying to buy a  huawei echolife hg612 modem for christmas

but im wandeing as there loads of diffrent price ranges

how easy is for me a computer novice to install the latest firmware so i can use the g inp

as i have seen a few for 45 pound with the g inp firmware installed but i dont want to pay that mutch if i can do it myself and if its easy to do

Packet loss starting , kids home from school so more people in your area using the available bandwidth.

 

If so these readings will get worse as the afternoon goes on.
