PharmDawgg Posted November 29, 2015 Share Posted November 29, 2015 What ping assist does is looks for server outside of you geofilter that meet your ping setting requirements. For your particular example the server in Kansas is outside of you geofilter but it is within 70ms ping to you so it is going to connect you to it. If you want to only connect to server inside your geo filter you need to set the Ping Assist to 0. But with your geofilter set as small as it is you might not get a game. imts_maul Posted November 29, 2015 Share Posted November 29, 2015 I personally would move the home location to cover more land and less water, while still actually covering where you live.. then lower ping assist to 25-30, reducing the number of hosts you get out of your geo-filter..
