Virgin Media Slow speeds when changing congestion controls

Hi

Having a slight issue with my duma since the latest update.  I've followed all the tutorials on here, but when I set me PC and PS4 hard wired to have the same figure under the congestion page, lowering my daughters Ipad due to her face timing her friends. My speeds drop from 150+ down to 20.  If i them reset the distribution back to all the same the speeds jump straight back up.

I've not had a week where I've not had to factory reset the duma since I purchased it.

I've got the same issue, i'm with virgin media paying for 100up/6down. I've followed the wiki guide to get the full speeds, using reactive instead of preemptive, disabled ipv6 etc. But nothing has helped me get the full speeds again. The max download speed I seem to be able to get is 70. I disconnected the R1, turned modem mode off the superhub and running a speed test to check it was on the ISP end, but I was getting the full speeds.

Yeah I called virgin media tech support and they tried to say it's the Duma that's at fault not their equipment.

Just reset and apply prio for now. Remember it now works in the upload & download direction now.

Iain is working on splitting these so it won't be an issue

So the speeds drop only one you change the device prioritisation on the Netduma?

Yep, I have to reset the control to allow everything to have the same amount of bandwidth or it craps out

Hey, welcome to the forum :)

If you follow everything here carefully you should be abel to get the speeds. Make sure you've pressed reset distribution under device prioritisation.

What speeds are you getting now and what speeds do you expect to get. And yeah, that's a good ping :)
